Roma bring in Falque
AS Roma have signed Iago Falque in a loan deal that is set to be made permanent, for a fee which could rise to €9 million.
The Eternal City club have paid an initial fee of €1 million for the 25-year-old spaniard, with a further €7 million to be forked out once he has made his competitive debut.
Genoa could then receive a further €1 million depending on how many games he plays for AS Roma, who revealed their new recruit has agreed a 5-year contract.
The much-travelled Falque scored 13 goals in 32 games for Genoa in Serie A last season following his move from Tottenham Hotspur just less than a year ago.
Ruiz seals permanent Villarreal move
Villarreal have completed the signing of Victor Ruiz from Valencia on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell last season.
The 26-year-old former Spain U21 centre-back has signed a 4-year contract to link up with Marcelino's side once again.
Ruiz made 25 appearances for Villarreal last season and did enough to earn a long contract with Valencia's La Liga rivals.
The defender joined Valencia from Napoli in August 2011 after a frustrating spell in Italy, in which he made only 6 Serie A appearances.
Stoke agree £12 million fee for Shaqiri
Stoke City have had a £12 million offer accepted for Inter Milano winger Xherdan Shaqiri, according to Sky Italia sources.
Stoke first tried to sign Shaqiri from Bayern Munchen in January and have now made a second move for the 23-year-old as their chances of landing Yevhen Konoplyanka fade.
Shaqiri must now decide whether he desires a move to the Britannia Stadium, just months after turning down Mark Hughes' side to sign a 4-and-a-half year contract at Inter Milano in a deal understood to be worth £16 million.
He made just 8 league starts during the second half of the season, scoring just once in Serie A, and the Italian club are now prepared to move the Swiss star on once again.
Shaqiri began his career with FC Basel before joining Bayern in 2012, and he won 2 Bundesliga titles and the 2013 Champions League with the German club.
He scored 11 Budesliga goals in 26 starts for Bayern but after a good World Cup in Brazil in 2014, Shaqiri struggled to establish himself in Bayern's first team.
He has 46 caps and 17 goals to his name for Switzerland.

Sevilla agree deal for Rami
Adil Rami is set to return to La Liga after FC Sevilla confirmed a deal for his transfer had been agreed with Milan.
Rami left Valencia in January 2014 to join AC Milan on loan, before later completing a permanent move to San Siro.
Yet the France international will now move back to Spain's top flight and again work alongside former Valencia coach Unai Emery, as new Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic continues a squad overhaul.
A Sevilla statement on Wednesday confirmed Rami is set to undergo a medical and pen a 4-year deal when he returns from holiday.
Rami, who also counts Lille among his former clubs, made 21 league appearances for Milan last term.

Holebas makes Watford move
Premier League newcomers Watford have signed Greece international defender Jose Holebas from AS Roma.
The 31-year-old has penned a 3-year deal at Vicarage Road.
The transfer fee, reported to be an initial £1.8 million, was not disclosed.
Before moving to the Italian capital in August last year, where he made 34 appearances and scored once across all competitions, Holbas enjoyed a 4-year spell with Olympiacos in his homeland.
Holebas began his professional career in Germany - the country of his birth - where he represented Viktoria Kahl and 1860 Munchen.
Watford were promoted to the Premier League as Championship runners-up last season and recently appointed new manager Quique Flores.
Ocampos joins Marseille permanently
Lucas Ocampos completed his permanent transfer from AS Monaco to Olympique Marseille on Thursday but in a boost for his former club, promising striker Corentin Jean joined from Troyes.
Ocampos arrived at Marseille in February and played 14 of the south coast club's last 15 matches - starting 3 times - in Ligue 1, as Marcelo Bielsa's men finished 4th in the French top flight.
In the first half of the 2014-2015 campaign, the Argentine winger played 17 matches for Monaco, including 7 starts.
The 20-year-old leaves Monaco with 10 league goals from 80 appearances, while he already has 2 goals and 2 assists for Marseille.
Fenerbahce close in on Nani transfer
Luis Nani is on the brink of a move to Turkey after Fenerbahce announced they'd agreed a fee, believed to be £4.5 million, for the Manchester United winger.
The Portuguese winger, who scored 12 goals in 35 appearances on loan at Sporting Lisbon last season, will move to the Sukru Saracoglu stadium in a matter of days, with the Turkish giants confirming a medical will take place on Sunday.
The 28-year-old has not figured in Louis van Gaal's plans since the Dutchman's appointment at Old Trafford and he now looks set to leave the club he has served since 2007.
Nani, capped 86 times by his country, has played almost 150 games for United since arriving from Sporting in a £17 million deal.

Inter confirm Murillo transfer
Inter Milano have signed Colombia international Jeison Murillo from Spanish side Granada, the Serie A club announced on Friday.
The 23-year-old centre-back joins Inter for an initial €8 million transfer fee and put pen-to-paper on a 5-year deal with the Nerazzurri club.
Serie A side Udinese brought Murillo to Europe 5 years ago from Deportivo Cali.
He was then sent straight on a season-long loan to Granada, who purchased his sporting rights in the summer of 2011.
The South American, who made 18 league appearances for Granada in the 2014/2015 season, recently competed with Colombia at the Copa America in Chile.
Storari exits Juve for Cagliari
Cagliari have completed the signing of veteran Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari on a 2-year deal.
The 38-year-old moved to Turin in June 2010, but has largely played second fiddle to first-choice Gianluigi Buffon and made just 5 Serie A appearances last season.
Storari has now moved to Cagliari, who were relegated from Serie A last season, on a deal until 2017.
Sevilla agree Escudero deal
FC Sevilla announced on Friday they have reached an agreement with Getafe to sign Spanish left-back Sergio Escudero for an undisclosed fee, subject to a medical.
Escudero, who started in 26 league games to help Getafe defend their Primera Division status last season, will put pen-to-paper on a 4-year contract with the Europa League winners.
Escudero, 25-year-old, began his career at Segunda Division club Murcia before joining Schalke in the summer of 2010.
He went on loan to Getafe in January 2013 and after his successful spell with the Madrid outfit, he sealed a permanent move to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez that summer.

Matthews completes Sunderland move
Sunderland signed defender Adam Matthews from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic for £2 million.
The 23-year-old full-back has signed a 4-year deal with the Premier League club, who announced the move on Friday.
Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat was pleased with the addition and said 12-time Wales international Matthews would add quality to his squad.
"We know that we need quality players to improve competition for places in the side, so Adam is a welcome addition to our squad and we are very pleased to welcome him to Sunderland", he said.
Matthews started his career at Cardiff City and made over 40 senior appearances for the club before moving to Celtic.

Watford agree fees for Spurs duo
Watford have reportedly agreed fees with Tottenham Hotspur to sign their French midfielders Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli.
Capoue, 26-year-old, is understood to be close to agreeing personal terms and negotiations are also ongoing with Stambouli, although an agreement with the 24-year-old is still some way from being reached.
France international Capoue joined Spurs from Toulouse under previous manager Andre Villas-Boas and featured consistently for the Portuguese, but he struggled to maintain a first team place under successors Tim Sherwood and Mauricio Pochettino.
Capoue has made just 19 Premier League starts in 2 years and did not appear in a Tottenham match day squad in any competition after 24 January this year.
Stambouli, meanwhile, was signed from Montpellier last summer instead of a loan deal for Alexandre Song, who joined West Ham, but the former France U21 failed to hold down a regular place in Pochettino's starting XI too, making just 4 Premier League starts.
The pair are set to become Watford's fifth and 6th signings of the summer having been promoted from the Championship last term. The Hornets have already signed Austria defender Sebastian Prodl, goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis and attacker Matej Vydra on a permanent deal from Udinese.
Capoue and Stambouli are set to follow the recent departures of Paulinho to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande and Lewis Holtby to SV Hamburg, as Spurs trim down their squad ahead of the new season.
Sky sources understand that strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, defenders Younes Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches, and winger Aaron Lennon are also available to other clubs at the right price.

FC Koln have completed the signing of midfielder Milos Jojic from Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old arrived at Signal Iduna Park from Partizan in January 2014, but struggled to feature regularly under Jurgen Klopp.
Jojic made 20 Bundesliga appearances as well as 5 more in the Champions League, but is seemingly not in Thomas Tuchel's plans at Dortmund this term and will make the move to Koln on a 4-year deal.
SV Hamburg have completed the signing of free agent Emir Spahic, almost 3 months after he was sacked by Bayer Leverkusen for headbutting a steward.
The Bosnia defender saw his contract at Leverkusen terminated after the incident was filmed in the aftermath of April's DFB Pokal defeat to Bayern Munchen.
As well as leaving Leverkusen, Spahic was also hit with a 3-month ban by the German Football Association (DFB).
That suspension is due to end on 12 July, with Hamburg confirming the 34-year-old's signing on a one-year deal.
Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal for Atletico Madrid central defender Toby Alderweireld, according to reports in Italy.
Tottenham have sealed a €16 million (£11.4 million) move for Alderweireld, with between £1 million and £2 million in add-ons, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 26-year-old spent the whole of last season on loan at Southampton and he was a huge hit as the Saints conceded just 33 Premier League goals.
Southampton were keen on signing Alderweireld and are believed to have had a £6.8 million option to buy the Belgium international, but after his emergence in the Premier League his Spanish club are believed to have paid out £1.5 million to negate that clause and allow them to sell him at a higher price.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been in Madrid and Di Marzio has confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Atletico, who are keen to cash in on the player.
Alderweireld is expected to be announced as a Tottenham player next week and he will link up with fellow countrymen Jan Vertonghen, Nacer Chadli and Mousa Dembele at White Hart Lane.

Sevilla seal Konoplyanka deal
FC Sevilla have completed the signing of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk star Yevhen Konoplyanka - the forward who gave them a torrid time in the Europa League Final.
The 25-year-old Ukraine international has signed a 4-year deal, which contains a £28.7 million buy-out clause, and joins from an undisclosed fee from the competition's losing side.
Sevilla announced earlier this month that the player had undergone a medical with the club after agreeing personal terms, but reiterated that they had not yet reached a full settlement with his former club, while his contract was set to expire on 31 July.
Konoplyanka enjoyed a superb season for Ukraine Premier League's third place finishers, starring in their journey to the Europa League Final, where they were beaten by Sevilla.
He had previously been the subject of interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League, almost joining Liverpool in January 2014, while West Ham tried unsuccessfully to sign him last summer, with a £12 million bid rejected.
West Ham complete Ogbonna move
West Ham have announced the €11 million signing of Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna on a 4-year contract.
The 27-year-old centre-back was a regular in Juve's side last season, making 25 Serie A appearances on his way to a second Serie A title.
Ogbonna was also instrumental as Massimiliano Allegri's side lifted the Coppa Italia in 2014-2015, but did not feature in the Champions League Final defeat to FC Barcelona.
The Italy international has moved for an undisclosed fee and becomes the 4th new arrival at Upton Park ahead of the new Premier League campaign, with Dimitri Payet, Pedro Obiang and Darren Randolph having already been added to Slaven Bilic's squad.

Van Ginkel seals Stoke switch
Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has joined Premier League rivals Stoke City on a season-long loan.
The Holland international becomes Stoke's 4th signing of the close-season after Philipp Wollscheid joined on a permanent basis, while Jakob Haugaard and Joselu have also switched to the Britannia Stadium.
Van Ginkel moved to Chelsea from Vitesse in July 2013, but a serious knee injury in September of that year hindered his progress.
Subsequently, the 22-year-old was shipped out on loan to AC Milan last season and he made 17 Serie A appearances during his time at San Siro.
The deal is sure to increase speculation that Asmir Begovic will move in the opposite direction to Stamford Bridge.
The Bosnia goalkeeper has been linked with a move to the Premier League champions for several weeks after contract talks stalled with the Staffordshire club.
Van Ginkel was reported to be one of several players Stoke were interested in as a makeweight for Begovic's exit.
Stoke snap up Given
Stoke City have signed veteran goalkeeper Shay Given from Aston Villa, with Asmir Begovic's time at the Britannia Stadium seemingly set to come to an end.
Begovic, Stoke's regular number 1 in recent seasons, is expected to complete a switch to Chelsea, who sent Marco van Ginkel on a season-long loan to the Britannia Stadium earlier on Friday.
And with Thomas Sorensen having been released at the end of last term, Stoke manager Mark Hughes has moved to bring in additional experience in the form of Given, who he previously worked with at Manchester City.
Given ended the 2014-2015 season as Villa's first-choice 'keeper, but has been released from the final year of his deal to facilitate his move.
The vastly experienced 39-year-old - capped 128 times by the Republic of Ireland - will provide competition for Jack Butland at Stoke, who also added Jakob Haugaard to their goalkeeping ranks in May.
Villa swoop for Gueye
Idrissa Gueye has completed a move from Lille to Aston Villa, the Senegal midfielder signing a 4-year deal with the Premier League club.
Villa confirmed the player's arrival on Friday for an undisclosed fee - believed to be in the region of £9 million.
Manager Tim Sherwood feels the 25-year-old - who will join up with his new team-mates once he has received a visa - is "perfectly suited" to playing in England.
"I'm really pleased to have brought Idrissa on board", Sherwood said.
"He's been one of the best young midfielders in France for the last few seasons and there were a lot of teams trying to sign him this summer."
"I believe we are signing a player who is hungry to succeed, is entering what should be his best years and is perfectly suited to the Premier League."

Wijnaldum completes Newcastle switch
Georginio Wijnaldum has become the first signing of the Steve McLaren era at Newcastle after agreeing a 5-year deal at St. James' Park.
The PSV captain lifted the Eredivisie title in Holland last season, but he has given up the chance to play European football to move to the Premier League.
PSV confirmed on Friday that Wijnaldum had left the club's pre-season tour in France to undergo a medical with Newcastle, ahead of discussing personal terms.
Confirming the signing on Saturday, Newcastle have revealed that the deal is the third-most expensive in club history, his fee (£13 million) less than only those paid for Alan Shearer and Michael Owen.
Mitrovic deal to be completed in hours
Newcastle will sign Aleksandar Mitrovic "in the coming hours", according to the Anderlecht striker's agent.
Newcastle are reportedly willing to pay around £13 million for the 20-year-old forward, who scored 20 goals in 37 Belgian Pro League games last season for Anderlecht.
The Serbian's agent, Pini Zahavi, has indicated that the transfer is near completion, telling local Belgian media: "The formalisation of the transfer will be made in the coming hours".
After having made no signings so far this summer, new manager Steve McClaren appears to be closing in on his two main targets, with moves for Schalke defender Joel Matip and Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin also mooted.
Stuttgart swoop for Insua
Emiliano Insua has agreed to join Stuttgart from Atletico Madrid, signing a three-year contract.
The former Liverpool defender moved to Atletico from Sporting Lisbon in 2013, but made just seven La Liga starts for the Vicente Calderon club.
He was loaned out to Rayo Vallecano last season, where he made 24 league appearances, scoring one goal.

Biabiany signs 4-year deal with Inter
Winger Jonathan Biabiany has returned to Inter Milano, the Serie A club confirming the 27-year-old has signed a 4-year deal at Meazza.
Biabiany spent 4 seasons at Parma, playing 179 league fixtures for 26 goals - but the club's recent turmoil that saw them file for bankruptcy and get demoted to Serie D stamped his exit papers.
The former France U21 international was previously at Inter from 2004 to 2011 as both a youth and senior player, but made just 14 league appearances while being farmed out on loan to Chievo, Modena and Parma.
A season at Sampdoria was followed by a permanent move to Parma, where he made an impression on the Italian top flight.
Biabiany's defection from Parma emulates that of Jose Mauri, the teenage midfielder switching earlier in the week to Inter's city rivals AC Milan - also on a 4-year deal.
Sorensen leaves Juve for Koln
FC Koln have signed defender Frederik Sorensen from Juventus on a 4-year deal.
Sorensen moves to the Bundesliga side after failing to break into the first team at Juve, making just 19 appearances since joining the Serie A club in 2010.
The Dane was sent to Bologna as part of a co-ownership deal in 2012, spending 2 seasons at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara before Juve signed him outright again in June last year.
Verona took the centre-back on loan for the 2014-2015 season but Sorensen now becomes the latest recruit for Koln, who have also signed striker Anthony Modeste, midfielder Milos Jojic and defender Dominique Heintz in the transfer window.
The Belgium international, 21-year-old, has penned a 5-year deal at the Vicente Calderon after Atletico reached an agreement with the Ligue 1 side.
Carrasco will replace Turkey captain Arda Turan, who joined FC Barcelona earlier this month.

Casillas leaves Real for Porto
Legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has ended a glittering stint at Santiago Bernabeu by moving to FC Porto.
Casillas departs Real having amassed 725 appearances since making his debut away to Athletic Bilbao in 1999, and is expected to be replaced in Rafael Benitez's side by Manchester United 'keeper David de Gea.
The 34-year-old has won everything before him in a 15-year career on domestic and international fronts with Real and Spain, listing 5 La Liga titles and 3 UEFA Champions Leagues among 2 European Championships and a 2010 World Cup triumph.
However, the closing chapters of Casillas' Real career have not been quite as storied.
Dropped by Jose Mourinho in January 2013, Casillas initially failed to win his place back under Carlo Ancelotti before finally ousting Diego Lopez for the 2014-2015 season as his rival was sold to AC Milan.
His best form has been judged well behind him though, with errors seeping into his game at an increasing rate, including in the 2014 Champions League Final to give Atletico Madrid a lead they only relinquished late on in normal time before Real were triumphant in the additional periods.
Casillas leaves Real on the back of a season that saw the club crowned Club World Cup champions, but ultimately ended in disappointment as great rivals FC Barcelona sealed a Treble.
