Hull sign Markovic on loan
Hull City have completed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Lazar Markovic on loan until the end of the season.
Markovic arrived at Anfield from Benfica in 2014 but has failed to make his mark at the club, scoring 3 goals in 34 appearances.
The Serbia international, who can play on the wing or centrally, started his career with Partizan Belgrade and spent the first half of this season with Sporting Lisbon.
But the 22-year-old will return to the Premier League to ease Hull's deepening injury crisis.

Evra leaves Juventus for Marseille
Olympique Marseille have completed the signing of Patrice Evra from Juventus, the Ligue 1 club have confirmed.
The 35-year-old has agreed an 18-month contract at the Stade Velodrome, with Marseille not disclosing the fee.
Evra had been linked with former club Manchester United as well as Valencia and Crystal Palace in recent weeks, but has opted to return to the French top flight.
The left-back started his professional career at Italian minnows Marsala after coming through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain and also had spells with Monza, Nice, AS Monaco and United before eventually joining Juventus in 2014.
He won 2 Serie A titles with the Turin giants, but had set his sights on a move elsewhere after losing his starting berth this campaign.
PSG sign Benfica star Guedes
Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of striker Goncalo Guedes from Benfica.
The 20-year-old has signed a 4-and-a-half-year deal after a reported fee of €30 million was agreed between the clubs.
Guedes completed a medical on Wednesday after watching his new team-mates take on Girondins Bordeaux in the Coupe de la Ligue semi-finals, with the move officially confirmed on Thursday.
Guedes, who has 2 senior caps for Portugal, has managed 7 goals and as many assists in 28 appearances for Benfica this season.
Dortmund loan Subotic to Koln
Neven Subotic has left Borussia Dortmund to join FC Koln on loan until the end of the 2016-2017 season.
The 28-year-old was poised to join Premier League side Middlesbrough in the close-season before a rib injury curtailed that move.
Subotic has yet to make a Bundesliga appearance for Dortmund, in part due to the injury, and his chances of first-team football at Signal Iduna Park appeared increasingly slim.
Consequently the centre-back has been allowed to leave Dortmund on a temporary basis.
Subotic joined Dortmund from FSV Mainz in 2008 and has since made over 200 appearances in all competitions for the club, winning the Bundesliga title in 2011 and 2012.

Bailey undergoes Bayer Leverkusen medical
KRC Genk attacker Leon Bailey is on the verge of joining Bayer Leverkusen after arriving at the Bundesliga side for a medical on Friday.
The 19-year-old had also been linked with Manchester United, Ajax and Hull City over the past few months, but he seems destined to continue his career at Leverkusen instead.
Bailey joined Genk from Trencin in 2015 and had since developed into a key figure at the Belgian club.
He particularly impressed in the Europa League this campaign, scoring 7 goals in 12 appearances including qualifiers to help Genk reach the knockout stages.
The winger's fine performances earned him the interest of a number of clubs across the continent, but Genk were quick to stress they would only allow Bailey to leave if an offer in excess of €15 million came in.
Leverkusen have now seemingly agreed to meet Genk's valuation of the attacker and the deal is expected to be completed shortly.

Stoke's Bojan loaned to Mainz
Bojan Krkic has joined FSV Mainz on loan from Stoke City until the end of the season.
The capture of the former FC Barcelona forward was considered to be a major coup when he arrived at the Potters in 2014 and he scored 4 goals in 16 Premier League games in his debut campaign before a serious knee injury curtailed his season.
Bojan returned to action and played 27 times in the top flight last term, but the 26-year-old has found his game time limited this season, making just 9 Premier League appearances, 4 of them as a substitute.
He moves to the Opel ArenA to find Mainz, who face Borussia Dortmund at home on Sunday, 11th in the Bundesliga table.

10 of the best January signings
Jaap Stam (Willem II to PSV - 1996)
Stam was only at Willem II for 6 months but made such an impression that PSV, seeking to end 3 seasons without silverware, swooped. The 23-year-old helped them to the Dutch Cup in his first campaign and the Eredivisie title in his second before joining Manchester United in 1998 for €18 million - a then record for a defender.
Dejan Stankovic (Lazio to Inter Milano - 2004)
Financial problems meant Lazio could not refuse Inter's offer of €4 million plus inducements; it was quickly apparent the Nerazzurri had got a bargain. Stankovic established himself as a firm fans' favourite by scoring from a corner against rivals AC Milan within weeks of arriving. He went on to win 5 Scudettos and the 2010 UEFA Champions League.
Nemanja Vidic (Spartak Moscow to Manchester United - 2006)
Sir Alex Ferguson beat competition from Liverpool and Fiorentina to sign the Serbian defender and the cause of his determined pursuit was immediately evident. There was no catching Chelsea in 2005-2006, but Vidic's partnership with Rio Ferdinand provided the bedrock for an era of dominance alongside another arrival in winter 2006 - Patrice Evra.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Heerenveen to Ajax - 2006)
This €9 million signing was a double coup for Ajax: the most promising striker in Dutch football and a player PSV once had on their books to boot. Huntelaar scored 105 goals in 136 outings for the club before leaving, 3 winters later, for Real Madrid. He commanded a €27 million fee.
Marcelo (Fluminense to Real Madrid - 2007)
"A pearl that half of Europe wanted", president Ramon Calderon said of Marcelo's arrival aged 18. A decade on and 3 La Liga titles and 2 UEFA Champions League winners' medals later, that sense of satisfaction has only amplified. Another acquisition from South America that winter - Gonzalo Higuain - also proved a bit of a catch.
Andrea Barzagli (VfL Wolfsburg to Juventus - 2011)
The best €300,000 Juve ever spent. Barzagli was not a complete unknown - he had 25 caps to his name and helped Wolfsburg to the 2008-2009 Bundesliga title - but his career had stalled. The Bianconeri weren't put off, drafting him into a defensive unit alongside Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon. They have won 5 successive titles.
Luis Suarez (Ajax to Liverpool - 2011)
The Reds wasted no time spending the €57,5 million from Fernando Torres's sale to Chelsea, bringing in Andy Carroll (€40,2 million) and Luis Suarez (€26,5 million). Carroll managed 11 goals in 58 games before departing a year and a half later. Suarez fared rather better with 82 in 133 outings, including 31 as Liverpool fell just short of the 2013-2014 Premier League title. It took FC Barcelona €82,3 million to prise him away.
Ivan Rakitic (Schalke to FC Sevilla - 2011)
The Swiss-born Croatian international went on to become the first foreign captain of the Andalusian outfit since Diego Maradona and led them to the first of their historic Treble of Europa League titles in 2014 before he too joined FC Barcelona.
Juanfran (Osasuna to Atletico Madrid - 2011)
A tricky winger with Navarran side Osasuna, Juanfran was reinvented as a full-back at the Vicente Calderon and has been Mr. Reliable on the right of Atletico's fearsome defence for the past 6 years. Not bad for a man who was once on Real Madrid's books.
Nemanja Matic (Chelsea to Benfica - 2011)
A proper coup. Signed as part of the deal that took David Luiz to Stamford Bridge, the Serbian was immediately converted from a playmaker into a defensive midfielder and was at the heart of a side that fell just short of Europa League glory in 2013 - denied by the Blues. He commanded a €25 million fee when Chelsea re-signed him the following year.

Payet seals Marseille return
France international Dimitri Payet has completed a £25 million move back to Olympique Marseille from West Ham.
Payet returns to Ligue 1 side Marseille on a 4-and-a-half-year contract after the two clubs agreed a fee on Sunday.
The 29-year-old playmaker will be officially presented alongside Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud and sports director Andoni Zubizarreta on Monday.
Payet joined the Premier League club from Marseille in 2015 and starred in his first season in England, earning a place in France's EURO 2016 squad where he scored 3 goals in a run to the Final.
Despite signing a bumper 5-year deal in February last year, Payet became unsettled with West Ham struggling for form this term and an exit had been on the cards ever since manager Slaven Bilic revealed the Frenchman did not want to play for the club midway through January.
In total, Payet netted 18 goals in 66 appearances for West Ham.
He scored 15 times in 83 outings in all competitions during his first spell at Marseille, staying at Stade Velodrome for 2 seasons after leaving Lille.
Palace complete Van Aanholt deal
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Holland full-back Patrick van Aanholt from Sunderland, the London club have confirmed.
The 26-year-old, who joined Sunderland from Chelsea in 2014, has signed a 4-and-a-half-year deal to return to England's capital.
Palace did not disclose the fee but it is reported they have paid £14 million to sign the left-back, who has played in all but one of Sunderland's matches this season.
He is the second signing made by manager Sam Allardyce, following the arrival of Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City for a reported £12 million.
Ryan return to Belgium with Genk
KRC Genk have signed Australia goalkeeper Mathew Ryan on loan from Valencia until the end of the season.
Ryan has been restricted to 2 La Liga starts for Valencia this season, with Los Che languishing in 15th position.
The 24-year-old previously starred in Belgium's top flight for FC Brugge, where he won the Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2013-2014 and 2015-2016.

PSG send Jese on loan to Las Palmas
Las Palmas have secured the services of Jese Rodriguez from Paris Saint-Germain on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The attacker had also been linked with Liverpool, Middlesbrough and AS Roma in recent weeks, but he has opted to continue his career at Las Palmas instead.
The 23-year-old only joined PSG from Real Madrid during the close season but he failed to live up to the high expectations at the Parc des Princes.
Jese - who was born on Las Palmas - made just 9 Ligue 1 appearances for the champions in the first half of the season, scoring once in the process.
He last featured for the capital side in their 3-1 Coupe de la Ligue win over Lille on 14 December.
Sirigu makes Osasuna loan switch
La Liga strugglers Osasuna have signed Salvatore Sirigu on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, bringing his temporary spell with FC Sevilla to an end.
The Italy international made only 2 league appearances for Jorge Sampaoli's side after joining on loan in August, with Sergio Rico the club's first-choice goalkeeper.
He had agreed a deal until the end of the season, but has now switched to 19th place Osasuna for the same duration.
Sirigu joined PSG from Palermo in July 2011 and helped the club to win 4 Ligue 1 titles, 2 Coupe de France crowns and the Coupe de la Ligue on 3 occasions.
El Ghazi leaves Ajax for Lille
Anwar El Ghazi fractious relationship with Ajax has come to an end after the Holland international completed a permanent switch to Lille.
El Ghazi, 21-year-old, came through the ranks of the Ajax youth academy and made his official first-team debut in August 2014, coming off the bench in the 1-0 Johan Cruyff Shield defeat at the hands of Zwolle.
The versatile attacker had since developed into an important first-team member at the Amsterdam ArenA but a transfer became inevitable after he fell out with head coach Peter Bosz earlier this season.
He was demoted to Jong Ajax for the duration of November, only to return to the first-team in December, scoring in the 1-1 Europa League draw with Standard Liege.
His time in Amsterdam has now come to a definitive end, though, as he will continue his career in France, El Ghazi signing a contract until June 2021.

Hull complete Grosicki signing
Hull City finally completed the signing of Poland international winger Kamil Grosicki from Rennes.
Grosicki, 28-year-old, arrives at the Premier League club on a 3-and-a-half-year deal, subject to international clearance, after the teams agreed a reported €9 million fee.
A 48-time international, Grosicki had been at Rennes since 2014 and scored 4 goals in 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
Marco Silva's team have work to do to avoid relegation, sitting bottom of the table and 5 points from safety.
Southampton sign Gabbiadini
Italy international Manolo Gabbiadini has joined Southampton from Napoli on a 4-and-a-half-year contract.
The transfer of the 25-year-old forward for an undisclosed fee, rumoured to be approximately £15 million plus potential add-ons, was announced on only an hour before the deadline.
Former Atalanta and Juventus player Gabbiadini has been a regular in Napoli's first team since moving to the San Paolo from Sampdoria in 2015, but has found himself on the fringes at times this term, making 13 appearances in Serie A and scoring 3 goals.
Saints lost forwards Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle to Liverpool and Shandong Luneng respectively in the previous transfer window, leaving them short of attacking options.
Wague joins Leicester on loan
Leicester City have confirmed the signing of Udinese defender Molla Wague on loan until the end of the season, with the option to make the deal permanent.
Wague, a Mali international, has become the Premier League champions' second signing of 2017, following on from Wilfred Ndidi earlier in the transfer window.
Wague has spent over 2 years at Udinese, making 37 appearances, though Leicester - who lost 1-0 at Burnley on Tuesday - had to gain permission from the defender's parent club Granada.

Palace loan Liverpool outcast Sakho
Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has joined Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.
Palace will reportedly pay a £2 million loan fee and take on the France international's wages for the duration of the loan.
Sakho arrives at Selhurst Park having fallen out of favour under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
The former Paris Saint-Germain defender made 80 competitive appearances for the Anfield club after joining in 2013.
But the 26-year-old - who featured in 22 league games last campaign - is yet to play this season.
Sakho joins a Palace team fighting relegation, sitting 18th in the table and 2 points from safety.

Ighalo leaves Watford for China
Watford have confirmed the departure of striker Odion Ighalo to Chinese outfit Changchun Yatai.
The Nigeria international has reportedly moved to the Far East in a deal worth £20 million, though Watford have not revealed the official fee.
Ighalo impressed for the Hornets last season but had fallen down the pecking order under Walter Mazzarri.
Having joined the Vicarage Road outfit from Granada in 2014, he scored 20 goals as Watford won promotion back to the Premier League in 2014-2015.
And he continued his fine form into the top flight, finding the net on 17 occasions as Quique Sanchez Flores's side comfortably avoided relegation.
Under Mazzarri, however, he failed to fire, with his 18 Premier League appearances bringing about just the single goal.
Swansea sign Ayew from Aston Villa
Swansea City have signed Jordan Ayew from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee, with Neil Taylor heading in the opposite direction as part of the deal.
Forward Ayew follows in the footsteps of brother Andre, who scored 12 goals in 35 appearances for Swansea before leaving to join West Ham for £20,5 million ahead of the 2016-2017 season.
Ayew, who netted 10 in 58 for Villa and signs a 3-and-a-half-year contract, is currently at the African Cup of Nations with Ghana, but will call south Wales home upon his return.

In his previous spell at the club Ba scored 18 goals in 29 league appearances for the Black Eagles, but could only help Besiktas to third spot behind Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
Manager Senol Gunes added 4 new players during the window, with Ryan Babel, Ersan Gulum and Matej Mitrovic also joining the Turkish champions.

Juventus sell Hernanes to Hebei China Fortune
Juventus have announced the sale of Hernanes to Chinese Super League outfit Hebei China Fortune in a deal that could be worth €10 million.
The 31-year-old has signed for Manuel Pellegrini's side, having fallen down the pecking order after a season and a half at Juventus.
He joins two other players with Serie A experience in the Hebei squad, Gervinho and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Hebei finished 7th in the CSL last season, in their first top flight campaign.
Hernanes played just 35 times for Juve in his short time in Turin, scoring twice, but a club statement offered a glowing account of his appearance from the bench in last season's 2-2 draw from 2 goals down against Bayern Munchen.
-
FC Porto to sign Oliver Torres
FC Porto have exercised their option to purchase Oliver Torres permanently from Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.

Torres emerged from Atletico's youth system in 2012 and made 36 La Liga appearances for his boyhood club.
-
Schalke sign Bentaleb
Schalke have completed the permanent signing of on-loan midfielder Nabil Bentaleb from Tottenham Hotspur, with the player signing a 4-year deal.
The 22-year-old joined Schalke on a season-long loan last August and has now sealed a full transfer, agreeing a contract to keep him with the Bundesliga club until 2021.
Reports earlier this month had suggested a £16 million deal was close to fruition as Bentaleb neared an appearance clause under the terms of his loan that would trigger a permanent move.
Bentaleb has played in 20 of Schalke's 21 Bundesliga matches this season, scoring 4 times as his side sit 10th in the table.
Bentaleb joined Spurs as a youth player from Dunkerque in 2012, making his debut in December 2013.
He played 26 Premier League games in 2014-2015, but injuries restricted him to just 5 in the top flight last season.
-
Valencia to sign Zaza on permanent deal
Simone Zaza is set to join Valencia from Juventus on a 4-year deal for a reported €16 million fee.
Valencia's sporting director Jose Ramon Alexanko confirmed on Wednesday the club's intent to sign the striker on a permanent deal.
The Italy international joined on a loan deal until the end of the season in January, having struggled to settle during a spell in the Premier League with West Ham.
The deal includes an option to buy the player outright from the Serie A champions and Alexanko has claimed that an agreement to activate the clause has already been reached.
"No matter what, he is a part of Valencia", said Alexanko, who was appointed as Jesus Garcia Pitarch's successor this week.
"We hope he scores lots of goals and makes us happy in every match."

Olsson made 253 appearances for the Baggies, scoring 14 goals, but felt the need to seek a new challenge as his first-team opportunities became more limited under Tony Pulis.

Dahoud to join Borussia Dortmund
Mahmoud Dahoud has agreed a deal to join Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season for an undisclosed fee.
The Germany youth international has signed a contract that will keep him at Signal Iduna Park until June 2022.
The highly rated 21-year-old midfielder, who can also play in a forward role, has reportedly been the subject of a transfer tug-of-war between Dortmund and Liverpool in recent days.
A report in Germany claimed that Jurgen Klopp sanctioned an offer of €25 million in an effort to secure Dahoud's signature, but a meeting with Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel convinced the player not to move to the Premier League.
Dahoud has made 32 appearances in all competitions this season, including 4 in the Champions League group stages.
