Need for Speed ProStreet boasts an impressive and unique car list that spans over 40 years of the automotive spectrum. EA unveils the first set of vehicles to be featured in the game with the Nissan GT-R PROTO leading the pack. This will mark the first time that the Nissan GT-R PROTO, which was unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, is available in a full packaged video game.

Every car in Need for Speed ProStreet is selected for a reason � it is either unique, aspirational, memorable or highly desirable.

How is this year's car list different?

This year we have more variety in brand and age of cars. Also, the car list is influenced by the culture and type of racing we have in the game. These aren't all the ones you'll find sitting, primped and proper in a show room. The cars you'll find in ProStreet are true battle machines that have been built for performance and for pushing your skills to the limits. They're prepped for competition and are not intended to stay clean and flashy. These are the cars that if you saw on the streets, you would know they weren't your ordinary commuter vehicle and that they were meant for competing.

What made you choose these cars?

When we started picking the cars for the game, there had to be a reason for each and every car that was selected. There had to be something unique, aspirational, memorable, or just cool about the car in order for it to stay on the car list.

There are some legendary vehicles. The car list currently features over 40 years of the automotive spectrum, and the widest range of cars we've ever featured with old classics like the 1970 Plymouth(r) Hemi(r) Cuda.

Multidisciplinary is key to Need for Speed ProStreet. Your cars will need to excel in different disciplines. The 1995 Mazda RX-7 is one of the greatest tuner cars of all time, excelling in drift. The 1999 Mitsubish Eclipse is prime for drag races and the 2006 Audi S4 will soar in grip races.

There are also those iconic cars that at the time may have seemed like any other car, but now we look at those cars as a cut above the rest (e.g. 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS AE86).

We've also got some of the latest and the greatest cars, including the Nissan GT-R PROTO, the 2008 BMW M3 and the latest version VW hatchback, the 2006 Volkswagen Golf GTI.

What can we expect to see from this game at E3?

At E3 you will be experiencing the power and adrenaline of the 1995 Mazda RX-7 and the 2008 BMW M3.

How important is it to have the Nissan GT-R PROTO in the game?

It's definitely a big deal for us to be featuring the Nissan GT-R PROTO in ProStreet. This iconic vehicle is a signature of performance, technology and legacy. It is one car that really encapsulates the history of our franchise as well as the ambitions of Need for Speed ProStreet.

Review:
Considering that the last few games in the series have focused pretty squarely on underground street racing, Need for Speed ProStreet is a fairly large departure for the series. Rather than giving you an open city to race around, ProStreet is much more focused on the races themselves. EA is showing the Xbox 360 version of the game at E3 this year, and we were able to get our hands on a controller and give it a go.
When you select a race event, you'll be taken to a sort of hub area, where you'll see a bunch of cars and people hanging out. In the case of the demo shown at E3, the area was a Nevada desert. You'll be able to bring a limited number of cars to an event, and if you manage to beat your car up too badly, it'll be totaled and you'll have to retry the race. If you crash all the cars you bring to the race, you may have to begin the entire event again. These consequences should definitely make the racing much more serious. Car damage also appears to be a big part of the game, and the cars take damage procedurally, so if you smash up the sides of your car, they'll have visible scrapes. Hoods, bumpers, and other parts can fly all the way off, and your car handling will be impacted if you take a bunch of damage.

There are multiple race types in ProStreet, and there's a boss for each race type. So you'll face, for example, the Drift King, the Drag King, or the Speed King as you play. The racing itself, on the surface, is similar to what you'd expect from the Need for Speed series, but the car handling feels much different. While it doesn't quite qualify as a full-on simulation, the game feels much less arcadey than the previous games. Yes, that means you might actually have to hit the brakes in this game. Also, like most driving simulations, ProStreet will have driving assists that you can disable as you get better at the game.

Visually, the big story about ProStreet is the smoke. When you burn rubber in ProStreet, the smoke looks absolutely amazing. It circles around the tires realistically and, most importantly, it lingers. If you burn out long enough, the smoke will start to impede even the cockpit view, and the smoke diffuses everything you're trying to see. It's a very neat effect that makes spinning doughnuts pretty exciting. Of course, how often you'll actually be able to get loose while trying to win races remains to be seen.

On top of all this is an improved artificial intelligence system that reacts to your actions and gives each racer its own personality. Racers will make mistakes and display different levels of aggression. We're looking forward to seeing how all this comes together when the game ships to stores later this year.

destul de frumos...dupa cum arata...astept sa apara cerintele....

ca ddram poate joci cu 512 ddram sau 1gb dar ca placa video va spun sigur cine nu are cu pixel shader 3 nu il va putea juka
o palca video iefitina e leaditek 6600 am vazut pe forum 1300-1500 pretu

Azi o sa postez multe filmulete, poze si alte detalii. Pregatiti-va!

credeti ca va merge jocu la cei mai multi dintre noi?
ps: filmele sunt realizate la o rez mai mare decat jocul

OK...am avut niste probleme si nu am avut timp sa postez. Toate filmuletele sunt de pe xbox 360 deci nu va fi aceeasi grafica si pe PC dar asteptati-va la niste cerinte ceva mai mari decat carbon.


PS. o sa postez filmuletele imediat ce rezolv cu toate problemele.
PS2. Degeaba spuneti ca puteti sa va uitati pe site-uri si voi. Sunt multe chestii care nu se gasesc asa usor cum credeti.
