"Hello, I am a young filmmaker looking for serious people who want to dedicate some time to a documentary about Europeans.
Here's a summary of the project's requirements, for each EU member state is needed :
- one person, student or professional, who can provide filming material : HD videocamera and soundclips.
- one person to find 6 people who agree to be filmed and interviewed, and they should be :
*a homeless person / or a person from another EU member state who came to live in your country
*an unemployed person
*a worker
*an independant (artist, businessman...)
*a house wife (between 40 and 50)
*a retired person (above 60)
The series of questions is to be defined according to the persons to be interviewed, that is to say, if they will be the same most of the time from country to country, and from person to person, I can change some at the last minute for various reasons, which is why I need a translator. Past experiences have confirmed that it can be a necessary reality in some occasions, but I can tell you that these will be related to family, traditions, economy, politics and culture and their interactions nationally and within the EU.
After all countries are visited, I plan to edit this myself and with professional friends participating for free as well, in order to submit it to the EU commission and other EU institutions, to propose them to broadcast this documentary through the internet and other medias, plus offering them a EU TV program concept. Contacts are being taken to provide professional support in this domain.
The goal of all this is of course to make people aware of the fact that we are stronger together with our differences.
This is also an opportunity to see how the public might react and how the communication within the EU can be improved.
And finally this is a way to build up a European network of both amateur and professional artists, so to work together in the future.
Thanks again and I hope hearing from you soon !
