Milan without Bertolacci for Juve trip
Andrea Bertolacci has been ruled out of Saturday's blockbuster clash between AC Milan and Juventus due to injury.
Bertolacci missed Milan's goalless draw with Atalanta before the international break because of a muscle problem but the Italian midfielder was hopeful of being fit for the trip to Turin.
However, Bertolacci was unable to recover in time and is subsequently absent from Milan's 24-man squad as Sinisa Mihajlovic's men look to move 5 points clear of Serie A holders Juve, currently in 7th position.

Menez returns to AC Milan squad
AC Milan have named Jeremy Menez in their squad for the crunch derby against rivals Inter on Sunday.
The 28-year-old has not played in Serie A all season after suffering with a string of injury problems, a major blow for Sinisa Mihajlovic after Menez netted 16 league goals last season.
But Menez has been included in the 23-man party for Milan's crucial game against Roberto Mancini's side at San Siro having come through training this week.
Mario Balotelli and Kevin-Prince Boateng are also named despite Mihajlovic casting doubts on their match fitness to play in such a pivotal contest.

Montolivo ruled out of Coppa Italia semi-finals
AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo will miss the Coppa Italia semi-finals second leg against Alessandria with an Achilles injury.
Sinisa Mihajlovic's men go into Tuesday's tie at San Siro with a 1-0 lead after Mario Balotelli's penalty proved decisive in the away leg.
But 31-year-old Montolivo, who missed Saturday's win over FC Torino through suspension, has not been included in Milan's 23-man squad, with the club insisting it is a precautionary decision due to a minor Achilles problem.
Attacker M'Baye Niang is also out after damaging ankle ligaments and his shoulder in a car crash that will keep him sidelined for around 2 months.
Luiz Adriano (leg) is still not fit, although defender Alessio Romagnoli is named in the squad after recovering from a bout of flu, while Mihajlovic confirmed Balotelli and Jeremy Menez were set to play a key role against Alessandria.

AC Milan sack Mihajlovic
AC Milan have officially sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic and appointed Primavera coach Cristian Brocchi in his stead.
The decision was in the air after a 3-hour dinner yesterday between Brocchi and the club's president Silvio Berlusconi.
On from a meeting this morning between Adriano Galliani and Mihajlovic, the Rossoneri now made the move official by releasing a statement on their site.
"AC Milan communicate the relief of Mr. Sinisa Mihajlovic from his duties as a coach", reads the statement.
"He has all of our thanks for the work he has done with honesty and drive."
"The coaching of the team passes to Cristian Brocchi until the end of the season. AC Milan wishes him the best for his work."

Chinese group to buy AC Milan
AC Milan could be sold to a Chinese consortium "in 6 to 8 weeks", according to financial broker Salvatore Galatioto.
Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol has long been in talks regarding a takeover of the club but negotiations have hit stumbling blocks during recent months.
Club president Silvio Berlusconi was reported last month to have issued an ultimatum to Mr. Bee - who is claimed to have struggled to attract investors since the damage sustained by the Chinese stock market - informing him he must table a bid by the end of the season.
With those talks showing little sign of a breakthrough, an unnamed Chinese group now appears poised to purchase the club, with reports in Italy placing the fee between €600 and €700 million.

AC Milan announce €89,3 million loss
AC Milan have recorded a loss of €89,3 million over the financial year 2015, with holding company Fininvest vowing to cover the deficit in its entirety.
The Serie A outfit announced their financial results during Thursday's shareholders' meeting.
Milan spent big in the transfer market ahead of the 2015-2016 campaign, with the signings of Alessio Romagnoli, Carlos Bacca, Luiz Adriano and Andrea Bertolacci costing in excess of €80 million.
But their investments have yet to pay off as they currently sit 6th in Serie A, and they face a battle in the final weeks of the campaign for the final European place.

Montolivo agrees Milan renewal
Riccardo Montolivo has agreed in principle to a 3-year extension with AC Milan, according to reports.
The midfielder's current deal expires at the end of the season, and it had been suggested that the Italian international could move elsewhere.
However, Sky is now reporting that the Rossoneri captain has agreed in principle to a new 3-year deal after talks in recent days.
It's thought the renewal will be officially announced in the coming days, and Montolivo will remain no matter who is coach next season.
The 31-year-old has been a regular under Sinisa Mihajlovic and now Cristian Brocchi, making 30 Serie A starts and completing over 80% of his passes.

Abbiati to retire
Christian Abbiati will retire from football at the end of the season and is set to make a farewell appearance for AC Milan against AS Roma at San Siro on Saturday.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper signed for Milan in 1998, winning 3 Serie A titles and the Champions League in 2003 when he was an unused substitute in the Final against Juventus at Old Trafford.
Abbiati also had loan spells with Juventus, FC Torino and Atletico Madrid during his long Milan career having started his career with Monza and Borgosesia.
The shot stopper was a Milan regular until the last 2 seasons when the signing of Diego Lopez from Real Madrid - and emergence of Gianluigi Donnarumma moved him down the pecking order.
He only made 4 appearances for Italy - all in friendlies - with his last appearance coming in 2005.
Abbiati has only played 6 times this season - 5 of those appearances coming in the Coppa Italia - but will be given the chance to play and say goodbye to supporters by interim coach Cristian Brocchi, with Donnarumma kept fresh for the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus on 21 May.

New contracts for Milan duo
AC Milan have secured the futures of Colombian central defenders Cristian Zapata and Jherson Vergara after both players signed contracts keeping them at the club until 2019.

Milan announced the news of Zapata's contract extension during Copa America, where the 29-year-old is on international duty for Colombia and scored after just 8 minutes of a 2-0 victory over United States.

Lapadula undergoes AC Milan medical
Gianluca Lapadula has undergone a medical with AC Milan as he closes in on a move to San Siro from Pescara.
The 26-year-old forward scored 30 goals as Pescara secured promotion to Serie A last season, attracting attention from the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Leicester City.
However, Lapadula arrived at La Madonnina clinic on Friday and now on the brink of making a switch to Milan - something he feels will benefit both clubs.
The striker's transfer fee is reported to be worth an initial €9 million, rising to €10 million.
Lapadula's impending arrival raises further questions over the future of Milan forward Carlos Bacca, who has been linked with a move away from San Siro.

The former striker leaves his role as Sampdoria coach to take the helm of a club that has underperformed in recent seasons, finishing 7th in 2015-2016.
It has been 5 years since the San Siro club lifted the Scudetto and Montella will be charged with bringing success back.

AC Milan seal Sosa signing
AC Milan have completed the signing of Jose Ernesto Sosa from Besiktas on a 2-year contract.
The 31-year-old arrives at San Siro after Vincenzo Montella's men confirmed the transfer - reportedly worth €7,5 million - on Wednesday.
Sosa, who has previously represented Napoli and Atletico Madrid, played 31 times in the Super Lig as Besiktas were crowned champions last season, scoring 7 goals.
Personal terms between Milan and the player were reportedly agreed as early as June, with lengthy negotiations now finally at an end after the player himself consistently spoke of his wish not to miss out on the chance to move.
Sosa was an unused substitute in the penalty shoot-out defeat to Galatasaray in last Saturday's Turkish SuperCup - his last involvement for Besiktas.
