Piatek joins AC Milan from Genoa
AC Milan and Genoa have agreed a €35 million deal for the transfer of Poland international striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to Sky in Italy.
Representatives from the two Serie A clubs met on Monday night and exchanged documents finalising the move.
The deal sees Genoa lower their original asking price of €40 million, but Milan will have to pay the fee upfront and include add-ons should they reach a Champions League qualifying spot in Serie A.
Piatek, who will earn around £34,000-per-week, is expected to arrive in Milano on Tuesday night and undergo a medical on Wednesday morning.
The 24-year-old originally joined Genoa for €4 million from Cracovia in the summer, after netting an impressive 21 goals in 36 appearances in the Ekstraklasa season.
His stint in Italy has been just as successful, with 19 goals scored in 21 appearances for Genoa so far this season.
