Deulofeu signs for Watford

Gerard Deulofeu has signed for Watford for an initial £11,5 million fee on a 5-year deal from FC Barcelona.

Barcelona could earn a further £3,5 million in add-ons and will also receive a percentage of any future transfer to other clubs.

Deulofeu played 7 games and scored one goal for Watford on loan last season.

Masina joins Watford

Watford have agreed a deal with Bologna for left-back Adam Masina, according to Sky sources.

The former Italy U21 international has agreed personal terms with the Hornets and will arrive in England for a medical this week.

Masina has a year left on his current deal with Bologna, who finished 15th in Serie A last season.

The Morocco-born full-back made 35 appearances in all competitions for Bologna last term, 34 of which came in the league.

Verdi signs for Napoli

Simone Verdi is officially a Napoli player after completing his €25 million transfer from Bologna and signed a 5-year contract.

The forward and free-kick specialist had his medical in Rome's Villa Stuart clinic today, then drove to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis' Filmauro offices to sign the contract.

The announcement video on Twitter played on his name - Verdi means Greens - with a "50 Shades of Green" theme.

Verdi had been on the verge of a move in January and the two clubs agreed terms, but he turned it down, insisting he wanted to end the season at Stadio Dall'Ara.

Now that the campaign has concluded with 10 goals and 10 assists in 34 Serie A appearances, the 25-year-old accepted the switch.

He turns 26 next month and Milan will also benefit, as they are owed 20% of the fee thanks to the deal they struck selling him to Bologna for just €1,5 million in the summer of 2016.

This still makes it the most profitable sale in Bologna's history, note Sky Sport Italia.

Sobhi to join Huddersfield after World Cup

Ramadan Sobhi will join Huddersfield Town from Stoke City after the World Cup, the Premier League club have announced.

The Egypt international will join the Terriers at the end of the upcoming tournament in Russia on a 3-year contract, with an option for a further year.

The winger made 41 Premier League appearances for Stoke since joining the Potters from Al Ahly in 2016.

However, he could not prevent the club from being relegated to the Championship in the 2017-2018 campaign.

Wolverhampton sign Raul Jimenez on loan

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Benfica and Mexico striker Raul Jimenez on loan for the 2018-2019 season, subject to international clearance and a work permit.

The 27-year-old - who is part of his country's World Cup squad in Russia - becomes Nuno Espirito Santo's first new signing of the summer as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

Jimenez has scored 14 goals in 62 appearances for Mexico and will be hoping to add to his tally in Russia this summer.

He had a spell in La Liga with Atletico Madrid after moving from Club America in his native country before joining Benfica in July 2015.

In total, Jimenez has played 120 times for Benfica and scored 31 goals and helped them win last season's Portuguese title.

Jimenez has also featured in 22 Champions League appearances and was part of Mexico's gold-winning football squad at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Watford sign Marc Navarro



Watford have signed Espanyol defender Marc Navarro on a 5-year contract.

The 22-year-old - who is primarily a full-back but can also play in central defence - came through the youth system at FC Barcelona before joining their city rivals at the age of 16.

He made his La Liga debut in January 2017, scoring for Espanyol in a 3-1 win over Granada.

Navarro went on to make 36 appearances and scored 3 goals in the Spanish top flight and will now try to make his mark in the Premier League.

Patricio signs for Wolverhampton

Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio has signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers on a 4-year deal from Sporting Lisbon.

Patricio, 30-year-old, won his 70th cap for Portugal in their 2018 World Cup opener against Spain last week and was part of the squad that won EURO 2016.

He opted to break his Sporting Lisbon contract after a group of around 50 masked supporters broke into the club's headquarters and physically assaulted players and staff in May as they were preparing for a training session ahead of the Portuguese Cup Final against Aves.

Patricio was one of a number of players to cite the "just cause" in relation to the lack of safety and protection highlighted by the attack.

Wolves had been reported to be willing to pay £18 million for the goalkeeper before he opted to terminate his contract, allowing him to join the English club for free.

Sporting could yet be owed a compensation fee though if the case goes to a FIFA tribunal.

He had been at the Portuguese club since the age of 12, making 460 appearances, including 26 in the Champions League.

Atletico Madrid confirm Lemar signing

Atletico Madrid have confirmed AS Monaco forward Thomas Lemar has agreed to join the club with the contract signed in Russia.

The two clubs confirmed last week that they had reached a "preliminary agreement" for a deal that is said to be worth €60 million.

The 22-year-old is part of France's 23-man panel for this summer's World Cup tournament and is expected to join his new teammates next month.

Lemar - who had been strongly linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool last summer - joined the Ligue 1 club from Caen in the summer of 2015.

The Frenchman is a versatile attacker able to play on both wings as well as through the centre and in a free role, while he is predominantly left-footed.

Lemar has scored 22 goals in 123 games for Monaco and starred in their 2016-2017 campaign, when they won Ligue 1 and reached the Champions League semi-finals.

He made his France debut in 2016 and has scored 3 goals in 12 international games.

Monaco complete deal for Geubbels

AS Monaco have completed the €20 million capture of 16-year-old forward Willem Geubbels from Olympique Lyon.

goal.com revealed last week that a deal was on the cards for the youngster, with those at Stade Louis II prepared to invest heavily in players of huge promise.

They have now acquired a talent being tipped for the top, with Geubbels having already graced Ligue 1, become the youngest player ever to turn out in Europa League competition and figured in the Goal NxGn.

Geubbels had been with Lyon since the age of 9, making his senior bow in September 2017.

In gracing a meeting with Dijon, he became the first player born in the 21st century to appear in a Ligue 1 fixture.

Leno completes Arsenal move

Arsenal have completed the capture of Germany international goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.

It is understood that the Gunners have invested €22 million in a new number 1, with Unai Emery moving to strengthen a squad inherited from Arsene Wenger.

Petr Cech has been Arsenal's last line of defence for the last 3 seasons, but the veteran Czech is now 36 years of age.

Leno moves to Emirates Stadium after 7 years with Leverkusen which delivered over 230 Bundesliga appearances.

He spent much of his youth career at VfB Stuttgart, but moved on in 2011 without taking in a first-team outing.

History was made that same year as he became the youngest goalkeeper to feature in the Champions League at 19 years and 193 days - in a meeting with Chelsea.

Quickly establishing a reputation as a reliable custodian, a senior international debut for Germany was made in 2015.

He now has 6 caps to his name, but was overlooked for World Cup 2018 duty this summer.

Leicester sign James Maddison

James Maddison has joined Leicester City from Norwich City on a 5-year contract.

Maddison passed a medical and agreed personal terms with the Foxes earlier this week, having decided against a switch to Southampton in order to be closer to his Coventry-based family home.

Sky Sports News reported on Sunday that both Leicester and Southampton had agreed identical packages worth in the region of £22 million with Norwich to sign the England U21 midfielder.

Maddison scored 15 goals last season and, with their parachute payments due to end this year, Norwich have been willing to cash in on their most valuable player.

Norwich have been seeking between £20 million and £25 million for Maddison, who has represented England at U21 level.

Fabianski joins West Ham

West Ham have signed goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea City on a 3-year deal.

The Hammers have agreed a fee of around £7 million for the Poland international, who will fill the void left by Joe Hart after he returned to parent club Manchester City.

Fabianski becomes West Ham's third summer signing after France U21 centre-back Issa Diop and defender Ryan Fredericks.

The 33-year-old, who was on the bench for Poland's opening World Cup game against Senegal, is looking forward to a fresh challenge with West Ham after 4 seasons at Swansea.

Fabianski, who joined Swansea from Arsenal in 2014, has made 499 saves in the Premier League over the past 4 seasons, while missing just 3 top flight games.

Funes Mori joins Villarreal



Everton centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori has joined Villarreal for an undisclosed fee.

The Argentina international, who missed out on a place in their World Cup squad, arrived at Everton from River Plate in September 2015 and made 67 appearances for the club, scoring 5 goals.

The 27-year-old missed the majority of last season due to a serious knee injury. He returned in the draw with Swansea on 14 April and made 3 more appearances before the end of the campaign.

Funes Mori had been linked with Middlesbrough and Mexican club Monterrey but Villarreal have won the race for his signature. He has signed a 4-year deal with the club.

The centre-back becomes Villarreal's third summer signing after Cameroon international Toko Ekambi and striker Gerard Moreno.

Kluivert signs for AS Roma

Justin Kluivert has joined AS Roma on a 5-year deal from Ajax, the club have announced.

The 19-year-old has joined for an initial £15 million with the transfer including a number of performance-related clauses, based on the player and the club.

The Holland international was linked with a move to Manchester United but opted for the Italian capital in a move that will keep him at the club until 2023.

Kluivert made 30 appearances for Ajax in the Eredivisie last season, scoring 10 goals, and during the 2017-2018 campaign he made his full debut for the national side, coming on as a substitute during a 3-0 win over Portugal in March.

Celtic and Southampton agree fee for Armstrong

Southampton have agreed a fee with Celtic for attacking midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

The 26-year-old is now discussing terms with the Premier League club to make the switch from Celtic Park to St. Mary's.

Sky Sports News understands the fee to be in excess of £6 million.

Armstrong signed a new 2-year contract last summer and only has a year left on his current deal with the Scottish Premiership champions.

He joined the club in 2015 from Dundee United and has made 98 appearances, scoring 23 goals in total.

Armstrong made his full Scotland international debut in March 2017, in a 1-0 win against Slovenia, and now has 6 caps in total to his name.

Cagliari pick up Srna

Cagliari have announced the signing of former Croatia right-back Darijo Srna from Shakhtar Donetsk on a free transfer.

A statement on Cagliari's official website confirms Srna has put pen-to-paper on a one-year contract with the option for a third.

The 36-year-old made over 500 appearances for Shakhtar and represented his country 134 times but has not played since last September due to a drug ban.

He becomes the Sardinians' second summer arrival after Rolando Maran, who was recently unveiled as their new coach.

Lazio sign Durmisi

Lazio have completed the signing of left-back Riza Durmisi from Real Betis on a 5-year contract.

The deal was confirmed in a statement on Lazio's official website, with Transfermarkt reporting they have paid Betis €6,5 million for Durmisi.

The Dane of Albanian descent played 54 times in 2 seasons for Los Verdiblancos but lost his place midway through last season.

He was also left out of Denmark's 23-man squad for the World Cup.

Viviano joins Sporting

Former Italy goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has officially joined Sporting Lisbon from Sampdoria for a reported €2 million.

The transfer was confirmed in a statement on Samp's official website, while Sporting tweeted Viviano had signed a 2-year contract with the option for a third and a €45 million release clause.

The 32-year-old joined the Blucerchiati in 2014 and made 115 appearances for the club, working under new Leoes coach Sinisa Mihajlovic in his first season.

He replaces Rui Patricio, who was one of the players who terminated their contracts with the Lisbon side after a training-ground attack by masked thugs.

Inter sign Nainggolan



Inter Milano have confirmed the signing of Radja Nainggolan from AS Roma.

The Belgian midfielder, who was left out of Roberto Martinez's World Cup squad, was pictured at Humanitas hospital in Milano on Sunday, where he underwent a successful medical.

The midfielder has signed a contract until 2022 and reports suggest that the fee will be around £21 million.

Nainggolan has been a key part of the Roma side since joining in 2014 from Cagliari and was instrumental in the club's run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.

He featured in 42 matches last season across all competitions, scoring 6 goals and registering 6 assists as Roma finished the Serie A season in third.

Roma sign Pastore

Paris Saint-Germain have officially confirmed that Javier Pastore has signed for AS Roma.

The Argentinian midfielder arrived in Italy last night ahead of the move, with the transfer fee expected to be around €20 million.

El Flaco took his medical at the Villa Stuart clinic this morning, and the Ligue 1 champions have now officially confirmed the transfer.

Mesa leaves Swansea for Sevilla on permanent deal

Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa has joined FC Sevilla on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old joined Swansea from Spanish side Las Palmas last summer, but spent just 6 months in Wales before returning to his homeland with Sevilla on loan.

He made just 7 appearances for them after joining in January, but Sevilla have seen enough to make the move permanent.

Mesa, who was brought to the club by previous manager Paul Clement, leaves the Liberty Stadium after making only 16 appearances for Swansea.

He was brought to the club for £11 million and signed a 4-year contract.

Maggio to Hellas Verona

Napoli right-back Christian Maggio is reportedly set to join freshly-relegated Hellas Verona.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Maggio plans to end his career as close as possible to his birthplace of Venice.

Consequently, Verona are expected to be the "next and last" club of his playing career, given there is only 43 km between the two cities.

The 36-year-old joined Napoli from Sampdoria in 2008 and went on to make 307 appearances for the Partenopei under Edy Reja, Roberto Donadoni, Walter Mazzarri, Rafa Benitez and Maurizio Sarri.

He also played 34 times for Italy, representing them at the 2010 World Cup and EURO 2012, but lost his place at San Paolo to Elseid Hysaj and is out of contract as of 30 June.

Lazio done deal for Berisha

Lazio have agreed terms with both Valon Berisha and his club Salzburg, it's reported.

The 25-year-old left-sided winger had also been linked with Newcastle and Sampdoria, but the Aquile have swooped for the Kosovo international.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Salzburg will eventually pocket €7,5 million plus bonuses.

Berisha is due to sign a 5-year contract with a salary worth €1,3 million per season.

Tadic secures move to Ajax

Ajax have signed Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic on a 4-year deal for a fee of around £10 million.

Sky Sports News reported earlier on Wednesday that the Dutch side was about to secure the Serbia international.

The 29-year-old, who arrived at Southampton in July 2014, had revealed recently that he was keen on returning to Holland, having previously played for FC Twente and FC Groningen.

Tadic is set to play in a winner-takes-all clash against Brazil on Wednesday night for a place in the last 16 at the World Cup.

He has signed a contract that starts on 1 July and will run until June 2022.

Ajax will pay a fee of £10 million which could increase up to around £11,5 million.

Tadic finished top of Southampton's goals and assists last season and scored twice in the win against Bournemouth which inspired their late climb out of the relegation zone.

Elyounoussi joins Southampton

Southampton have signed forward Mohamed Elyounoussi from FC Basel on a 5-year deal.

Sky Sports News understands the 23-year-old Norway international will cost Saints £16 million.

He scored 23 goals and produced 30 assists in 83 appearances for the Swiss club.

He becomes Southampton manager Mark Hughes' second signing of the week, after midfielder Stuart Armstrong joined from Celtic.

Athletic to sign Berchiche

Athletic Bilbao will complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain defender Yuri Berchiche today, according to reports.

The full-back switched Real Sociedad for the French capital last summer in a €15 million move but now PSG are keen to balance their books for UEFA Financial Fair-Play demands.

ESPN journalist Eduardo Fdez-Abascal reports the transfer stands at €20 million, including variables, and the defender will pen a 4-year deal at San Mames.

Yuri has netted 2 goals and provided 5 assists in 32 appearances for the Parisians since his move from Sociedad to the Ligue 1 champions last summer.

The defender could become the second former La Real defender to join their Basque rivals following Inigo Martinez's €32 million switch in January.

Sevilla sign Amadou

FC Sevilla have officially signed defensive midfielder Ibrahim Amadou from Lille for a reported €15 million.

A statement on Sevilla's official website confirms Amadou will sign a 4-year contract once he has passed a medical early next week.

The 25-year-old made 102 appearances in 3 seasons for Lille and reunites with right-back Sebastien Corchia.

He has yet to pledge his international allegiance to France or Cameroon, although he played twice for Les Bleus' U19 team.

Inter Milano have officially signed Kwadwo Asamoah and Stefan de Vrij from Juventus and Lazio respectively.

A statement on Lega Serie A's official website confirms Asamoah put pen-to-paper with Inter on 17 May.

The Ghanaian, who can play anywhere down the left or in central midfield, joins Inter on a free transfer, having decided against signing a new contract with Juve.

Asamoah made 156 appearances in a 6-year spell with the Bianconeri, but injuries limited his impact towards the end of his spell.

De Vrij's Bosman arrival from Lazio has also been formalised by the Lega, the Dutch centre-back committing himself to the Nerazzurri until 2023.

Contrary to reports, however, he penned his deal on 29 March and not in the lead-up to Inter's Champions League decider against the Aquile on the final day of last season.

Ciciretti joins Napoli

Amato Ciciretti has officially signed a 5-year contract with Napoli, but the attacking midfielder is being linked with Getafe again.

Lega Serie A's official website confirms Ciciretti put pen-to-paper with Napoli on 12 January, having entered the final 6 months of his Benevento contract.

The AS Roma youth product spent the second half of last season on loan at Parma, helping the Gialloblu return to Serie A after 3 years away.

Gabi arrives in Qatar

Atletico Madrid captain Gabi Fernandez has arrived in Qatar ahead of his move to Al Sadd on a free transfer, it has been confirmed.

Last week, Diario AS, Cadena Cope and Cadena Ser all say the 34-year-old has struck an agreement with the Middle East club, while Marca report an offer is under "serious consideration".

Pictures have emerged on social media of the central midfielder in a Qatari airport and posing with an Al Sadd scarf.

Los Rojiblancos appear to have already signed a long-term successor to the experienced midfielder with the acquisition of Rodri from Villarreal.

Gabi is set to pen a 3-year deal which will net him €6 million in wages to end the second spell of his career at Atleti.

Having come through the youth system at the Madrid-based club, Gabi spent 4 years at Real Zaragoza between 2007 and 2011 before returning to Diego Simeone's side.

The central midfielder has amassed a total of 414 first team appearances for the Europa League winners but has never been capped by Spain.

Al Sadd are the club of former FC Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandez.

Sokratis joins Arsenal

Sokratis Papastathopoulos has completed his move to Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund.

The Greek international has joined the Premier League side on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

Sokratis makes the switch from Borussia Dortmund where he has won 2 Bundesliga titles and one German Cup having signed for them in 2013.

The 30-year-old will wear the number 5 shirt at the club and also has vast experience on the international stage having made 79 appearances for Greece.

Genoa pick up Marchetti

Genoa have officially signed former Italy goalkeeper Federico Marchetti from Lazio.

Lega Serie A's official website initially reported Marchetti had joined Cagliari, but Tuttomercatoweb assures it was a mistake on the organisation's part.

Indeed, Transfermarkt notes the shot-stopper has penned a 2-year contract with the Grifone, replacing Mattia Perin, who joined Juventus last month.

The 35-year-old made 194 appearances for Lazio but lost his place to Thomas Strakosha and filled in for Gianluigi Buffon at the 2010 World Cup.

Fiorentina get Lafont

Fiorentina have announced the signing of France U19 goalkeeper Alban Lafont for a reported €8,5 million.

The deal was confirmed in a statement on Fiorentina's official website, Lafont having passed his medical on Monday, prior to penning a 5-year contract.

Born in Burkina Faso but raised in France, the shot-stopper was named the second-most promising player in world football by the CIES Football Observatory earlier in the year.

However, he will not join up with the Tuscan club until next month as he is due to represent Les Bleus at the European U19 Championship, which begins on 16 July.

Martinez joins Inter

As expected, Lautaro Martinez has officially signed a contract with Inter Milano following his transfer from Racing Club de Avellaneda.

Martinez's name appeared on the Lega Serie A website, confirming his contract with Inter has been deposited.

Lazio sign Proto

Lazio have officially signed Olympiacos and Belgium international goalkeeper Silvio Proto.

The 35-year-old made the move as a free agent and put pen-to-paper on a 3-year contract.

Proto has Italian roots and spent his entire career in Belgium, save for the 2017-2018 season with Olympiacos.

He underwent his medical at the Paideia clinic in Rome this morning.

The veteran will be the new understudy to Thomas Strakosha.

Atletico reach Adan deal

Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement for Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan, according to reports in the Spanish press.

Adan, 31-year-old, has been the first-choice at the Seville-based club since joining from Cagliari in 2014 but looks set to exit this summer.

The Spaniard is out of contract at Los Verdiblancos next summer and a proposed €3 million move to Sporting Lisbon broke down at the 11th hour.

Getafe reportedly lodged an offer of €1,5 million but Betis have rejected this offer, with multiple outlets suggesting Atleti would make a move to provide competition for Jan Oblak, following Miguel Angel Moya's move to Real Sociedad in January.

Canales joins Betis

Real Betis have completed the signing of winger Sergio Canales from Real Sociedad on a 4-year contract, it has been confirmed.

The former Real Madrid man has regained his form this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting 11 in 45 appearances for La Real in 2017-2018.

Canales was considered one of Spain's brightest prospects when he broke through at Racing Santander during the 2009-2010 campaign.

He went on sign for Real Madrid but failed to build on his potential, before embarking on an injury-ravaged spell at Valencia.

The 27-year-old moved to La Real in 2014 and has managed to play more than 150 times in San Sebastian, despite an ACL injury disrupting his second season.

He has been capped by Spain at U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 level, while he helped his side win the European U17 and U21 Championships.

Canales has become Betis' second signing of the summer after Eibar midfielder Takashu Inui while Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez is also close to joining.

Watford sign Sema

Watford have completed the signing of winger Ken Sema from Swedish club Ostersunds on a 5-year contract.

Sema - who scored the winner against Arsenal in their 2-1 Europa League victory at the Emirates Stadium last season - is a Sweden international but he missed out on selection for their World Cup squad.

In total, Sema played 84 times in a 2-and-a-half-year spell in the Swedish top division with Ostersunds, including 13 appearances for them in the Europa League.

The 24-year-old joins Bologna defender Adam Masina and Espanyol's Marc Navarro in making the move to Vicarage Road in the close-season, with West Bromwich goalkeeper Ben Foster also set to join them.

Karnezis joins Napoli

Napoli have officially signed Greek international Orestis Karnezis from Udinese, joining his former team-mate Alex Meret.

It was announced, once again, by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis on Twitter.

The Partenopei completely revamped their goalkeeping pool this summer after Pepe Reina left as a free agent to join AC Milan.

In a double deal with Udinese believed to be worth €28 million, Meret has now been joined by Karnezis.

The Greek goalkeeper turns 33 next week and spent last season on loan at Watford.

He knows 21-year-old Meret well and will continue to act as a mentor to the young talent.

Betis confirm Ruiz to Napoli

Real Betis have confirmed the sale of midfielder Fabian Ruiz to Napoli after receiving his €30 million release clause.

The Spain U21 international is joining the Naples-based club in a €30 million deal on a 5-year contract, worth a reported €2,5 million per annum with no release clause.

Ruiz renewed his contract at Los Verdiblancos until 2023 in January, reportedly hiking his release clause from a lowly €12 million to a fee of €30 million.
