Liverpool complete Grujic deal
Serbia U21 midfielder Marko Grujic has completed his transfer from Red Star Belgrade to Liverpool.
Grujic put pen-to-paper on a deal with the Premier League club on Wednesday, but will return to Red Star on loan for the rest of the season.
Liverpool did not confirm how much they have paid for the 19-year-old, who becomes Jurgen Klopp's first new signing, but Red Star announced before Christmas that the fee was €7 million.

Newcastle complete Saivet signing
Newcastle have completed the signing of Senegal midfielder Henri Saivet from Girondins Bordeaux on a 5-and-a-half-year deal.
Saivet has joined Newcastle for an undisclosed fee, becoming their first signing of the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old, who can operate on the wing as well as in the centre of midfield, made 178 appearances for Bordeaux and scored 23 goals.

Henrique leaves Napoli to join Fluminense
Brazilian defender Henrique has left Napoli and returned to his homeland, joining Fluminense on a permanent deal.
The 29-year-old moved from Palmeiras to Napoli during the January transfer window in 2014, but has struggled to earn a regular place in the first-team during his near 2-year stint in Naples.
Henrique made 29 appearances for the current Serie A leaders in all competitions and had not featured at all in the current campaign under manager Maurizio Sarri.

Immobile seals Torino return
Ciro Immobile is back at FC Torino after joining the Serie A club on loan from Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season, with an option for a permanent move.
The Italy forward, signed by Dortmund from Torino in June 2014, was loaned to FC Sevilla by the Bundesliga club during the first half of this season.
However, Immobile has struggled for regular playing time and goals at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, netting 4 goals in 15 appearances from all competitions.
And he will now look to recapture his form with a Torino side sitting 14th in Serie A, having lost their last 3 league games.

Southampton sign Austin from QPR
Southampton have announced the signing of striker Charlie Austin from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
The 26-year-old has penned a deal until 2020 with Ronald Koeman's side after an undisclosed fee was agreed with reports suggesting it is in the region of £4 million.
The forward leaves Loftus Road after scoring 48 goals in 89 appearances following a switch from Burnley in August 2013.
Austin has managed 9 goals in 16 appearances so far this season despite battling hamstring injury problems.

Struggling Hannover bring in Almeida
Bundesliga strugglers Hannover have announced the signing of free agent Hugo Almeida.
The Portugal international was plying his trade with Anzhi Makhachkala in the Russian Premier League before parting ways with the club 6 months into his contract.
Almeida has already played under Hannover coach Thomas Schaaf during a spell at Werder Bremen from 2007-2010.
Hannover were quick to snap up the 31-year-old as they look to push their way up the Bundesliga table.
Schaaf's men are sitting in the relegation zone at the halfway point of the season - one point off bottom but also just one point from safety.
The Bundesliga resumes next Friday when SV Hamburg host Bayern Munchen, while Hannover play the following the day against Darmstadt.

Juventus seal €6 million deal for Mandragora
Juventus have announced the signing of Genoa midfielder Rolando Mandragora for an initial fee of €6 million.
The 18-year-old has signed a 5-year contract with the Serie A champions and will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Pescara.
Juve have confirmed the transfer fee could double to €12 million depending on the player's achievements in Turin.
Mandragora has made 16 appearances for promotion-chasing Pescara in Serie B so far this season.

Unhappy Tabanou returns to Saint-Etienne on loan
Swansea City have allowed Franck Tabanou to rejoin former club Saint-Etienne on loan for the rest of the campaign, just 7 months after the defender arrived at the Liberty Stadium.
The Frenchman's chances have been limited in south Wales this season, with Tabanou only making 3 appearances and none in the league.
Tabanou moved to Swansea in June after spending 2 years at Saint-Etienne, helping them into the Europa League last term, and hit out over a perceived lack of opportunities with the Swans.
"I had gone to Swansea to get to the next level, to get my foot in the Premier League and to then go higher", Tabanou told L'Equipe.
"Unfortunately it didn't happen the way I wanted. They did not give me my chance. I do not understand."
"And I think, if I had stayed, my situation wouldn't have changed. The club is in a terrible situation and, despite that, they never let me play."
Dodo leaves Inter for Sampdoria
Inter Milano have announced Brazilian wing-back Dodo has left the club for Sampdoria on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The defender had already been linked with Sampdoria for a number of weeks and joined his new team-mates on the training pitch for the first time on Thursday after passing his medical in the morning.
The 23-year-old joined Inter from AS Roma in July 2014 and made 20 Serie A appearances in his first season at Meazza.
However, he made just one appearance in all competitions in the first half of the 2015-2016 campaign and had been deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Roberto Mancini.
Dodo will now be looking to get his career back on track at Sampdoria and could make his official debut for his new club in this weekend's home game against Serie A leaders Napoli.
The left-back has a contract with Inter until June 2019.

Kuzmanovic to Udinese
Udinese have signed former Inter Milano midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic on loan from FC Basel for the rest of the season.
The Serbian international returned to the Swiss side this summer on a 5-year contract, but has made a quick return to Serie A.
"Udinese Calcio announces the signing of Zdravko Kuzmanovic from Swiss club FC Basel on a temporary basis until June 2016 with the right to buy", the Zebrette announced on their official website.
Ranocchia all set for Samp
The Andrea Ranocchia saga seems to be over, as it's reported the Inter Milano defender will join Sampdoria on loan.
The former captain is no longer part of Roberto Mancini's plans and had been linked with numerous different clubs, including AC Milan, Atalanta and Norwich City.
Sky Sport Italia now claim Sampdoria and Inter have agreed a 6-month dry loan, so without an option to buy.
Ranocchia turns 28-year-old next month and has been at Inter since January 2011.
It's a return to Stadio Luigi Ferraris, as he played for Genoa from 2008 to 2011.
Valdes loan to Standard Liege ?
Victor Valdes' difficult tenure at Manchester United is reportedly at an end as he gets close to a loan move to Standard Liege.
Sport cites reports from England that claim the former FC Barcelona goalkeeper will spend the rest of the season in Belgium after falling out of favour under Louis Van Gaal.
Former Belgium and Bayern Munchen defender Daniel Van Buyten is the club's assistant manager and is said to have brokered the arrangement, having played under Van Gaal at Bayern.
Valdes left Barca in the summer of 2014, a few months after suffering a serious knee injury, which scuppered a move to AS Monaco.
He eventually trained with and then signed for United but a row with the manager meant he was banished from the first-team for much of his time at Old Trafford.
Valdes was accused of refusing to play for the United U21s and banned from the training ground, and wasn't even allowed to attend a charity function with his United team-mates.

Malaga snap up Atsu on loan
Malaga have confirmed the arrival of Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
Atsu spent the early stages of the campaign at Bournemouth, but his temporary switch was cut short after he sustained a stress fracture to his shin while on international duty with Ghana.
The winger will now spend the remainder of the season with the Andalusian side, who 12th in La Liga.
Malaga were in the market for a wide player following the sale of Nordin Amrabat to Watford.
Atsu will take part in training with his new team-mates on Tuesday and could feature in Saturday's trip to Eibar.
Malaga will be the fifth club Chelsea have loaned the Ghanaian to since his arrival from FC Porto in 2013, with the 24-year-old yet to make a senior appearance.

El Shaarawy completes Roma switch
Stephan El Shaarawy has completed his switch to AS Roma on loan until the end of the season from Serie A rivals AC Milan - with the view to a permanent move.
The Italy international endured a disappointing loan spell at AS Monaco in the first half of the 2015-2016 campaign, and subsequently returned to San Siro.
Rather than make up part of Sinisa Mihajlovic's squad, El Shaarawy has become the first signing for Luciano Spalletti since he replaced Rudi Garcia in the Italian capital.
As part of the deal Roma will pay Milan €1,4 million for the initial loan spell, with an agreement in place to make the deal permanent for a fee of €13 million.

Townsend completes Newcastle move
Andros Townsend has completed his transfer from Tottenham to Newcastle.
The 24-year-old England international has signed a 5-and-a-half-year deal at St. James' Park after an undisclosed fee was agreed between the two sides.
Townsend has made just 3 Premier League appearances under Mauricio Pochettino this season after falling down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
His arrival has prompted speculation that Florian Thauvin, signed from Olympique Marseille in the previous transfer window, could be allowed to leave on loan.
