Atalanta sign De Ketelaere on loan

Atalanta have officially announced the signing of Charles De Ketelaere from AC Milan on an initial loan deal with an option to make the move permanent at a later date.

It is widely believed that Atalanta will pay the Rossoneri a loan fee of €3 million for the 2023-2024 season, retaining the right to buy the player permanently for an additional fee of €22 million plus €4 million in bonuses.

Milan will also receive a 10% sell-on clause if Atalanta do decide to buy De Ketelaere outright.

The 22-year-old will wear the number 17 shirt during his stay in Bergamo. De Ketelaere will also be registered in time for Atalanta's first league game of the 2023-2024 Serie A season, an away trip to Sassuolo this Sunday.

Liverpool sign Endo

Liverpool have signed midfielder Wataru Endo from VfB Stuttgart for a fee of about £16,2 million, subject to a work permit and international clearance.

The 30-year-old Japan international has agreed a 4-year contract.

Liverpool have brought in Endo after missing out on Ecuador international Moises Caicedo and Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.

Endo can also play at centre-back but has been signed primarily as a central defensive midfielder.

Doku to join Manchester City

Manchester City have agreed to sign Belgium winger Jeremy Doku from Rennes in a deal worth £55,4 million.

The 21-year-old has scored 12 goals in 92 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.

Doku is poised to become City's third major signing of the summer, after Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea for £25 million and Josko Gvardiol from Leipzig for £77 million.

He was expected to travel to Manchester on Tuesday to undergo a medical before the transfer is completed.

West Ham sign Mavropanos

West Ham United have completed the signing of Greece defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from VfB Stuttgart for an undisclosed fee.

Mavropanos, 25-year-old, has signed a 5-year contract with the Hammers and has taken the number 15 shirt.

He was signed by Arsenal in January 2018 but only made 7 Premier League appearances before being loaned out.

He played 34 times for VfB Stuttgart in all competitions last season as the German side narrowly avoided relegation, and made 89 appearances for them overall, scoring 8 goals.

Mavropanos had joined the Bundesliga club from Arsenal on a season-long loan in July 2020, which was extended for a second season, before the move was subsequently made permanent.

Montiel joins Nottingham Forest on loan

Nottingham Forest have signed World Cup-winning defender Gonzalo Montiel on a season-long loan from FC Sevilla with an option to make the move permanent.

Montiel scored the decisive penalty shootout kick for Argentina as they won the tournament in Qatar last year.

The 26-year-old is Forest manager Steve Cooper's fifth signing of the summer and has taken the number 29 shirt.

Montiel rose through the youth ranks at River Plate and made his first-team debut for the Buenos Aires club in April 2016.

He went on to make 139 appearances for River and was part of the team which won the 2018 Copa Libertadores against city rivals Boca Juniors in Madrid.

Montiel, who has been capped 23 times by Argentina, joined Sevilla in August 2021 and scored the winning penalty in the club's Europa League Final victory over AS Roma last season.

Roma signs Azmoun on loan

Bayer Leverkusen striker Sardar Azmoun is expected to land in Rome this evening to complete his transfer to AS Roma on loan with option to buy for €13 million.

The Giallorossi have been on the hunt for at least one centre-forward, ideally two, since Tammy Abraham tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee at the end of last season.

The 28-year-old will need some very careful medical tests, because he has been out of action since July with a muscular tear.

It is a relapse of another injury he had sustained in October 2022 that kept him on the touchline for 6 weeks.

Leverkusen sign Tella

Southampton forward Nathan Tella has joined Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in a reported £20 million deal.

The 24-year-old starred for Burnley on loan last season, scoring 19 goals as the Clarets won the Championship title.

He has signed a 5-year deal with the German club.

Tella spent 6 years with the Saints after joining the academy from Arsenal as a 17-year-old.

He featured 3 times in the Championship this season, scoring once, but was left out of the side for Saturday's 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.

Chelsea sign Petrovic

Chelsea have signed goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from New England Revolution for £12,5 million plus £1,5 million in add-ons.

The 23-year-old Serbia international will compete with Robert Sanchez for the number 1 spot at Stamford Bridge.

It comes after Kepa Arrizabalaga left the club to join Real Madrid on loan while Edouard Mendy signed for Al-Ahli.

Petrovic played 43 times in MLS for New England and has 2 caps for Serbia.

The club have spent about £323 million on 8 players in this transfer window, more than any other side in Europe, and have broken the record for the highest summer spend by any club in the world - eclipsing Real Madrid's £292 million in 2019.

They have spent more than £850 million in the market since owner Todd Boehly took over last summer.

Bayern complete Peretz signing

Israeli 'keeper Daniel Peretz's move to German champions Bayern Munchen is officially sealed. The Bavarians officially unveiled the 23-year-old on Friday evening.

The Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper arrives in Munchen for, according to Kicker Magazine, a transfer fee of €5 million plus performance bonuses. His new contract runs through 2028.

The Israeli 'keeper - who also holds a German passport - recently drew attention to himself in a group stages match against the Germany U21s in this summer's European Championship.

Peretz saved 2 penalties in the 1-1 draw. Acting Bayern sporting CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen lauded Peretz as a goalkeeper with "great potential".

Peretz will slide behind current Bayern number 1 Sven Ulreich for now. Manuel Neuer, Dreesen also confirmed, is slated for a return to the starting spot once his return from injury is complete.

West Ham complete Kudus signing

West Ham have completed the signing of Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus in a deal worth at least £38 million.

The 23-year-old scored a hat-trick in Ajax's Europa League play-off win over Ludogorets in Bulgaria on Thursday.

Brighton & Hove Albion were understood to have reached an agreement with Ajax for Kudus earlier this month, but they were unable to finalise personal terms.

Kudus started his professional career at Nordsjaelland in 2018, before joining Ajax in 2020 where he has scored 27 goals in 87 appearances, helping his side to 2 Eredivisie titles.

He scored 11 goals in 30 league appearances last season as Ajax finished third.

Everton to sign Beto

Everton are closing in on a deal to sign Udinese striker Beto with the clubs in advanced talks over a move for a fee reportedly worth up to £30 million.

The Toffees are bottom of the Premier League having lost their first 3 games without scoring a goal.

Portuguese Beto scored 10 goals last season and would add presence to a frontline that is desperately in need of reinforcements.

The 25-year-old would become Everton's fifth summer signing.

Tierney joins Real Sociedad on loan



Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has joined Real Sociedad on a season-long loan.

The 26-year-old Scotland international joined the Gunners for £25 million from Celtic in 2019.

Tierney has gone on to feature 124 times for the club, scoring 5 goals.

However, he only started 6 Premier League games last season as Arsenal finished runners-up to Manchester City and was not thought to be in manager Mikel Arteta's plans.

Tierney was left out of the squad for each of Arsenal's first 3 Premier League fixtures this season, although he did feature as a substitute in the Community Shield win over Manchester City earlier this month.

Fulham sign Castagne



Fulham have signed Belgium full-back Timothy Castagne from Leicester City on a 4-year deal.

Castagne, 27-year-old, departs Leicester after 3 seasons at the King Power Stadium.

He has joined the Cottagers for an undisclosed fee until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

The Belgium international made 112 appearances for Leicester, scoring 5 goals, and featured 37 times in the Premier League last term as they suffered relegation from the Premier League.

Castagne has not played under new Leicester manager Enzo Maresca this campaign and returns to the top flight with Fulham.

Napoli sign Lindstrom on loan

Napoli have officially confirmed the signing of Denmark international Jesper Lindstrom on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt with an obligation to buy.

It is believed that the Partenopei will pay Eintracht €5 million for the first season, also committing to buy the 23-year-old outright for a fee of €20 million including bonuses at a later date. Lindstrom's former club Brondby will also receive 15% of the transaction.

Lindstrom has put pen-to-paper on a 5-year contract in Campania, which will run until the summer of 2028. Reports suggest that he is set to take home around €2,5 million per season.

Inter to sign Pavard

Inter Milano are ready to sign Benjamin Pavard after receiving the green light from Bayern Munchen.

The Nerazzurri agreed to the terms of a deal for the Frenchman earlier this month, willing to pay €30 million plus €2 million in add-ons for the 2018 World Cup winner.

Inter have been waiting to welcome Pavard for days now but have been left in limbo as Bayern refused to sign off on the deal until they secured a replacement. A deadline was set for today and this has now been met.

The Nerazzurri have booked in the 27-year-old's medicals for Wednesday, allowing them to integrate the player into Simone Inzaghi's squad ahead of their next match against Fiorentina on 3 September.

During his 4-year spell with Bayern, Pavard scored 12 goals and provided 12 assists in 163 appearances across all competitions.

Brighton sign Baleba

Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Carlos Baleba from Lille for £23,2 million.

The Cameroon-born teenager arrives on a 5-year deal.

Having made 13 appearances for Lille's B team, he made his first-team debut last September as a substitute in a 1-0 win against Lens.

His first Ligue 1 start came in January in a goalless draw with Stade Brestois, as he went onto make 19 league appearances during the 2022-2023 season. He has made a further 2 appearances this season.

Baleba made the move to Lille in January 2022, having played academy football in his homeland.

Lazio to sign Guendouzi on loan

Olympique Marseille midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has landed at the Ciampino airport in Rome and is expected to undergo a medical in the coming hours before officially signing his contract with Lazio.

The 24-year-old, draped in a Biancocelesti scarf, was filmed making his way out of the airport gates before saying hello to a crowd of supporters who had waited to welcome him to the city.

The former Arsenal midfielder is expected to join Maurizio Sarri's side on an initial loan deal at a cost of €1 million with an obligation to buy for €12 million. Marseille will also hold a 10% sell-on clause.

Monaco sign Balogun

AS Monaco have completed the £35 million signing of striker Folarin Balogun from Arsenal on a 5-year deal.

The 22-year-old United States forward returns to France after scoring 22 goals on loan at Reims last season.

Balogun had not featured for Arsenal in the Premier League at the start of this season despite first-choice striker Gabriel Jesus being out injured.

He signed professional terms with Arsenal at 17 and made 2 top flight appearances in his time with the club.

Palace sign Henderson

Crystal Palace have signed England goalkeeper Dean Henderson on a 5-year deal from Manchester United.

Palace have paid £15 million plus £5 million in add-ons for the 26-year-old, who was a substitute during United's win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

He was on loan at Forest last season but they signed Matt Turner from Arsenal earlier this month.

Henderson has been with United since the age of 14 but never established himself as the team's first-choice 'keeper, going on loan spells to Stockport, Grimsby, Shrewsbury and Sheffield United, as well as Forest.

Another former Manchester United 'keeper, Sam Johnstone, has started the season in goal for Palace and the 30-year-old was named in the latest England squad on Thursday.

Liverpool signs Gravenberch

Liverpool have agreed a deal worth £34,3 million to sign midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munchen.

The 21-year-old Holland international joined the German champions from Ajax last summer but has struggled for first-team football.

Gravenberch has made just one substitute appearance this season.

Liverpool have been linked with him for much of the summer and will now aim to conclude a deal before Friday's transfer deadline.

Gravenberch came through the Ajax academy and made his debut for the club in September 2018 against PSV Eindhoven.

In all, the box-to-box midfielder played 103 matches for the Dutch club, scoring 12 goals, before joining Bayern for an initial €18,5 million.

City sign Matheus Nunes

Manchester City have completed the signing of midfielder Matheus Nunes from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £53 million.

The deal includes a 10% sell-on clause for Wolves from any profit City make on the 25-year-old in future.

The Portugal international, who has 11 caps for his country, has signed a 5-year contract with City.

Wolverhampton signed Nunes on a 5-year contract last summer, paying a club-record £38 million to Sporting Lisbon.

He was a key figure during the second half of last season as Wolves successfully avoided relegation, finishing 13th in the table.

Gray leaves Everton to join Al-Ettifaq



Demarai Gray has left Everton to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq.

The fee has not been disclosed but reports suggest the 27-year-old Jamaica winger has moved for £8 million on a 4-year deal.

Gray was rebuked by Everton manager Sean Dyche after seeming to criticise his manager on social media after a switch to Fulham failed to go through.

Gray did not play for Everton this season and had also been linked with a move to Besiktas before completing the switch to Saudi Arabia, where the transfer window closes on Thursday.

He scored 9 goals in 67 Premier League appearances after arriving at Goodison in 2021.

Wijnaldum joins Al-Ettifaq

Paris Saint-Germain and Holland midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has joined Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq side.

Wijnaldum, 32-year-old, joins up with former Liverpool team-mate Jordan Henderson, who signed for the club in July.

Neither club has revealed whether Al-Ettifaq have paid a transfer fee.

Wijnaldum spent 2023-2023 on loan at AS Roma but suffered a broken leg and missed both the World Cup in Qatar and 6 months of Serie A action.

He won the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020 while playing for Liverpool between 2016 and 2021.

The former Newcastle midfielder has earned 90 caps with Holland, but endured a disappointing spell in the French capital, making only 38 appearances.

Pepe joins Trabzonspor

Arsenal's former club record signing Nicolas Pepe has joined Trabzonspor on a free transfer, ending a disappointing 4-year spell at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners paid £72 million to sign the Ivory Coast winger from Lille in 2019.

Pepe scored 27 goals in 112 games for Arsenal and spent last season on loan with Nice.

The 28-year-old was not involved in any of the club's matchday squads this season.

Pepe had one year left on his Arsenal contract and had been their record signing until the £100 million arrival of West Ham midfielder Declan Rice this summer.

Coutinho joins Al-Duhail on loan

Aston Villa's Philippe Coutinho has joined Qatari side Al-Duhail on loan for the rest of the season.

The Brazilian midfielder, 31-year-old, has made just 2 substitute appearances for Villa this term after scoring one goal in 22 matches in the previous campaign.

His current contract at the Premier League club runs out in June 2026.

Coutinho completed a permanent move to Villa from FC Barcelona in July 2022, 6 months after initially signing on loan.

Villa's manager at the time, Steven Gerrard, described Coutinho as a "brilliant signing for the club" after tempting the man he once captained at Liverpool to complete a £17 million return to the Premier League.

The arrival of Barca's £142 million record signing was seen as a coup, despite Coutinho having endured a disappointing 4-year stay at the Nou Camp that was blighted by poor form and a serious knee injury.

Coutinho made an instant impact during his loan, scoring on his Villa debut in a 2-2 draw against Manchester United and ending the 2021-2022 season with 5 goals and 3 assists.

However, struggling with niggling injuries, the wide player's form dipped as Villa toiled under Gerrard early last term and he has made just 2 starts since current manager Unai Emery was appointed in October.

Coutinho also missed out on selection for the Qatar World Cup after picking up a thigh injury 2 weeks before the tournament, with the last of his 68 caps for Brazil coming in June 2022.

Lloris in talks over free transfer to LA Galaxy

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is in talks to join MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy on a free transfer, ending 11 years in north London.

Lloris came close to leaving Spurs in the summer and was in talks with Lazio, but a deal was not completed.

The 37-year-old has been behind Guglielmo Vicario and Fraser Forster and has not played since a 6-1 loss to Newcastle in April.

He has made 447 appearances for Spurs since signing from Olympique Lyon in 2012.

The former France international, who is about to enter the final 6 months of his contract, expressed a desire to leave Tottenham in the summer and was also left out of the club's pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East.

Lloris has kept 151 clean sheets during his time in north London and was part of the Tottenham side that reached the 2019 Champions League Final under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The former Nice goalkeeper was appointed club captain by Pochettino in 2015 before being replaced by forward Son Heung-min in August.

He was also part of the France side that won the World Cup in 2018 and retired from international football in January having become the country's most-capped player, with 145 international appearances.

Rangers sign Fabio Silva on loan

Glasgow Rangers manager Philippe Clement has made Fabio Silva his first signing, with the Wolverhampton Wanderers forward joining on loan for the rest of the season.

The Portugal U21 international cost a club record £35,6 million in 2020 when he joined Wolves from FC Porto at age 18.

But he has failed to make a significant impact and will move to Ibrox Park on 1 January when the window opens.

Clement said he was thrilled to add the "highly-rated striker", who has "great experience in both England and Europe".

Clement, who replaced the sacked Michael Beale as manager in October, has lost Danilo to long-term injury, and fellow striker Kemar Roofe is also beset by fitness troubles.

Silva will bolster Clement's attacking options as Rangers - currently 5 points behind Celtic with 2 games in hand - look to rein in the Scottish Premiership leaders and progress beyond the Europa League last 16.

The forward had spells on loan in Belgium and Holland with Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven respectively last season, scoring 15 times in 46 games.

Silva is under contract at Molineux Stadium until 2026, with the club holding the option of another year.

He has made 10 appearances for Wolves this term but his only goal came in the EFL Cup against Blackpool in August, and he has not started a league game since 3 September.

Van de Beek completes Frankfurt loan deal

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has completed his loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 26-year-old will join the Bundesliga side for the rest of the season, with an option to turn the transfer into a permanent deal.

Van de Beek has made just 6 Premier League starts for United since signing from Ajax for £35 million in September 2020.

Manager Erik ten Hag said recently the Holland international needed a move to revive his career.

It is understood Eintracht will pay United a loan fee and are covering the majority of his wages.

Should they want to make the deal permanent, the fee is set at £9,5 million, with an additional £2,6 million in add-ons.

Van de Beek has made 62 appearances for United across all competitions, scoring twice.

He had a loan spell at Everton in 2022 before returning to United, and missed the second half of last season with a serious knee injury.

Tottenham agree loan deal to sign Werner

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to sign Timo Werner on loan from Leipzig with the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

The forward, 27-year-old, will fly to London for his medical and Spurs will cover his wages for the rest of the campaign.

Werner has Premier League experience with Chelsea after joining the Blues in a £45 million move from Leipzig in 2020.

The German scored 23 goals in 89 appearances for Chelsea and returned to Leipzig in 2022.

He has scored 2 goals in 14 appearances this season for the Bundesliga side.

Tottenham complete Drăguşin transfer



Tottenham Hotspur have signed Romania defender Radu Drăguşin from Genoa for £25 million.

Drăguşin, 21-year-old, becomes the club's second signing of the January window after Germany forward Timo Werner joined on loan from Leipzig.

The Romania international, who has 13 senior caps, started all 22 of Serie A side Genoa's matches this season.

Spurs defender Djed Spence has joined Genoa on loan for the rest of the season as part of the deal.

Drăguşin, who has signed a deal that keeps him with Tottenham until the summer of 2030, began his career at Juventus and spent time on loan with Genoa before making a permanent move last summer.

Sancho returns to Borussia Dortmund on loan

Manchester United and England winger Jadon Sancho has rejoined former club Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the 2023-2024 season.

The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford in a £73 million deal from Dortmund in July 2021.

He has not played for United since 26 August after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag and has been training away from the first team since September.

The loan contract contains no option to buy.

Dortmund will pay £3 million, with up to an additional £3,4 million in add-ons which are subject to appearances, Champions League progress and qualification.

The deal covers the majority of Sancho's wages, and if the bonuses are paid in full it would be more than 100% of Sancho's salary to the end of the season.

Dier moves to Bayern Munchen on loan

Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier has joined Bayern Munchen on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old England international has been out of favour under Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, making only 4 Premier League appearances this season.

Bayern have the option to sign Dier for a further year after the loan contract ends.

Dier, who only has 6 months left on his current Spurs deal, has been capped 49 times by England but struggled to claim a first-team place for Tottenham this season.

Dier joined Tottenham in a £4 million deal from Sporting Lisbon in 2014 and has made 274 Premier League appearances, but started only one league game this season.

Napoli sign Hamed Traore

Bournemouth midfielder Hamed Traore has joined Italian club Napoli on loan for the rest of the season.

Traore joined the Cherries on loan from Sassuolo in January 2023 before the move turned into a permanent 5-year deal last summer for about £20 million.

The Ivory Coast international, 23-year-old, is not at the African Cup of Nations after spending several weeks on the sidelines while recovering from malaria.

He has made 13 appearances for the Cherries, including 6 this season.

However, he has not featured in the Premier League since September.

Brentford sign Reguilon on loan

Brentford have signed Tottenham's defender Sergio Reguilon on loan until the end of the season.

The left-back, 27-year-old, spent the first half of the season on loan at Manchester United but that deal was terminated by the Old Trafford club this month.

He joined Spurs from Real Madrid in 2020 and spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid.

Brentford are 16th in the Premier League, 3 points above the relegation zone.

Bournemouth sign Unal on loan

Bournemouth have signed Turkey striker Enes Unal on loan from Getafe, with the deal to be officially confirmed after the Cherries' Premier League game with West Ham on Thursday.

Unal, 26-year-old, has scored 36 goals in 109 appearances for the La Liga club since joining from Villareal in 2020.

He has made 32 appearances for Turkey, scoring twice.

Unal has only played in 3 La Liga games this season, starting just one match.

He was bought by Manchester City in 2015 when he was 16-year-old, but he made no competitive appearances for the Blues and instead had loan spells with Genk, NAC Breda and Twente.

West Ham have agreed to sell Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals to Real Betis for €8 million.

The 27-year-old has made 202 appearances since his arrival from Villarreal in 2019.

However, he has struggled to gain a regular starting spot this season following the arrival of Mohammed Kudus and James Ward-Prowse in the summer.

Fornals has only started 4 Premier League games for David Moyes' side in 2023-2024.

Although West Ham triggered a one-year option on Fornals' contract in December, it was always likely they would let him leave if the right bid was received.

AS Roma sign Angelino

AS Roma have officially signed left-back Angelino from RasenBallsport Leipzig, depositing his contract to Lega Serie A.

The 27-year-old Spaniard had been on loan with Galatasaray, but this was interrupted to facilitate his move to the Italian capital. He landed in Italy yesterday to undergo his medicals with the Giallorossi before putting pen-to-paper on his contract.

Roma have signed Angelino on a 6-month loan deal with a buy option attached, understood to be worth around €5 million plus €1 million in add-ons. Reports also suggest that there's a gentleman's agreement in place that'll see the buy option activated should the club qualify for the Champions League.

In the first half of the season, Angelino scored one goal and provided one assist across 19 appearances for Galatasaray.

Taremi set to join Inter on a free transfer

Fabrizio Romano reports Inter Milano have reached a full agreement with Iran international Mehdi Taremi, who will join the Nerazzurri on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Inter have secured the signature of Porto striker on a free transfer. The 31-year-old will move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the season, reports transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

According to the report, Taremi will sign a 2-year contract with an option to extend for a further campaign. The Nerazzurri have already booked medical examinations for the Iran international.

Taremi will sign his contract with the Nerazzurri after completing his medical checks.

Taremi has scored 6 goals in 24 appearances with FC Porto this season.

Zielinski to join Inter on a free transfer

Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has already undergone his medicals with Inter Milano ahead of a free transfer in the summer.

The 29-year-old Polish midfielder has decided not to sign a new contract with the Partenopei and will leave at the end of the season. He has already agreed to the terms of a deal with the Nerazzurri, setting up a 3-year contract with an option for a 4th worth almost €4 million net per season.
