Hernandez completes move to Sevilla
Javier Hernandez has completed a permanent €8 million switch to FC Sevilla from West Ham on Monday.
The Mexico striker has signed a 3-year contract at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, bringing to an end his 2-and-a-half season stay in east London.
The 31-year-old netted his final goal for West Ham during a 1-1 draw away at Brighton on 17 August, which also marked his last appearance for the club.
Hernandez scored 17 goals in 63 games across all competitions for West Ham in total, helping the team secure a top 10 spot last season after a 13th place finish in 2017-2018.
The diminutive centre-forward has not quite been able to recapture his best form at the London Stadium, but he endeared himself to the fans with his work-rate and explosiveness in the final third.
Mkhitaryan arrives to complete Roma move
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has arrived in Italy to complete a season-long loan move from Arsenal to AS Roma as the European transfer window prepares to close.
Mkhitaryan has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium this season following the arrivals of Nicolas Pepe and Daniel Ceballos.
Reiss Nelson's return from his loan spell at Hoffenheim and the emergence of Joe Willock have created further competition in attacking midfield roles, and as such Mkhitaryan faces watching much of the campaign from the Emirates Stadium sidelines.
But the Giallorossi are now set to bring the Armenia international to Stadio Olimpico before the transfer deadline for Serie A clubs, with Goal able to confirm that they will pay a loan fee and contribute a significant amount towards Mkhitaryan's £180,000 per week wages. There is no option to buy included within the package.
Mkhitaryan has struggled for consistency since joining the Gunners in January 2018 as part of the swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez join Manchester United.
In total Mkhitaryan has made 59 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 9 goals and laying on 13 assists.
Andone joins Galatasaray on loan
Brighton & Hove Albion striker Florin Andone has joined Turkish champions Galatasaray on a season-long loan for an undisclosed fee.
The Seagulls have a January recall option as part of the loan agreement for the Romania international.
Andone joined Brighton from Deportivo La Coruna in July 2018, having made 69 appearances across two seasons, scoring 18 goals.
Andone scored his first goals for Brighton in the back-to-back wins over Huddersfield Town and Crystal Palace in December, before scoring in the reverse fixture against the Terriers in March.

PSG sign Keylor Navas
Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has joined Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of €15 million, while Alphonse Areola has moved in the opposite direction on loan.
The 32-year-old signed for Madrid from Levante in 2014 after impressing at the World Cup in Brazil.
Navas joins the French champions having enjoyed huge success at the Spanish capital club, winning 3 consecutive Champions League titles, along with one La Liga title and 2 UEFA Super Cups.
The Costa Rica international also claimed the 2017-2018 UEFA Best Goalkeeper, and was named in the Champions League squad of the 2018 campaign, when Gareth Bale's double over Liverpool helped the club to a third successive title.
Navas then lost his number 1 spot at the Santiago Bernabeu upon the arrival of Thibaut Courtois last summer, and has now joined the Ligue 1 side at the expense of Areola, who has made the switch to Madrid on loan.
France international Areola leaves on a season-long agreement, with no option to purchase coming with the deal.
The 26-year-old spent several years in the PSG youth sides before making his senior debut in 2013 as the club went on to win the league. The goalkeeper then picked up 2 more Ligue 1 titles, along with back-to-back French cups.
Areola was also a member of France's 2018 World Cup-winning squad, having previously made his international debut in a man-of-the-match performance against Germany in a UEFA Nations League meeting last year.
Despite starting in 3 of PSG's 4 league games this season, Areola has made the switch to La Liga, where he looks set to act as back-up for first-choice Courtois.
Atalanta sign Kjaer
Atalanta have officially signed FC Sevilla defender Simon Kjaer on a season-long loan with no option to buy.
Kjaer replaces Martin Skrtel, who terminated his Atalanta contract just weeks after he put pen-to-paper.
The 30-year-old has made over 400 official appearances during his career and previously played in Italy for Palermo and AS Roma.
He has also picked up 89 caps for Denmark, representing his country at 3 major tournaments.
Kjaer becomes the third player to leave Sevilla for the Dea this summer after Luis Muriel and Guilherme Arana.
Chiriches joins Sassuolo
Sassuolo have officially signed Napoli defender Vlad Chiriches on loan with obligation to buy.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Sassuolo will pay €10 million plus bonuses for Chiriches.
The 29-year-old joined Napoli from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2015 for a fee of €7 million.
However, injuries and competition for places limited him to just 48 appearances in all competitions.
The Romanian now heads to Mapei Stadium as a replacement for Merih Demiral, who joined Juventus earlier in the summer.

Icardi joins PSG on loan
Inter Milano striker Mauro Icardi has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a loan for the duration of the 2019-2020 season.
The loan reportedly includes an option for PSG to buy the 26-year-old Icardi for €65 million.
This season, PSG reportedly will pay Icardi €8 million, with a €2 million bonus should they activate the purchase option in the deal.
If PSG do not activate the purchase option, Icardi would return to Inter on wages of €5 million per season.
Inter have also announced Icardi has signed a one-year extension on his contract, so if he does not join PSG permanently his deal with Inter will run through 2022.
Falcao joins Galatasaray
Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of Radamel Falcao as the Colombian star completes his move to Turkey from AS Monaco.
Falcao, who did not feature for Monaco to start the Ligue 1 season due to an ankle injury, had been linked to Galatasaray throughout the transfer window.
Galatasaray confirmed negotiations with the striker this week before Falcao was welcomed by a crowd of thousands upon his arrival to Istanbul on Sunday night.
Falcao had featured for Monaco since arriving from La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid in 2013 as he helped guide the club to Ligue 1 glory in 2016-2017.
He scored 83 goals during his stay with the club, but made it clear this summer that he was looking to move on from the team.
The 33-year-old striker had already embarked on 2 loan spells away from the club during his stint in Ligue 1, with the first being a spell with Manchester United in 2014-2015 that produced just 4 goals in 29 appearances.
He didn't fare any better the next season as he was loaned to Chelsea, where he fired just once in 12 appearances for the Premier League club.
The forward did contribute 16 goals for Monaco last season, though, after scoring 24 and 30 the two seasons prior.
Falcao is Colombia's top all-time scorer, having fired 34 goals in 89 appearances while featuring at 3 Copas America as well as the 2018 World Cup.

Minamino to undergo Liverpool medical
Takumi Minamino will have a medical at Liverpool on Wednesday ahead of a proposed move from FC Salzburg in January.
Liverpool began negotiations to sign the 24-year-old, who has a £7,2 million release clause in his contract, last week and he is now expected to officially arrive at Anfield on 1 January.
The Japan attacking-midfielder impressed against Liverpool in their two Champions League group games this season, scoring at Anfield.
Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund said last week it was an "honour" to have Champions League champions Liverpool interested in their players.
Minamino has scored 7 goals in all competitions for the Austrian league leaders this season as they finished third in the group phase, dropping into the Europa League last 32.
Liverpool have insisted the proposed deal for Minamino is not for commercial reasons and based solely on football ability and suitability to Jurgen Klopp's squad.
Minamino joined Salzburg from Cerezo Osaka for less than £1 million in 2015.

Leverkusen sign Exequiel Palacios
Exequiel Palacios will join Bayer Leverkusen from River Plate in January, the Bundesliga club have announced.

The 21-year-old central midfielder has made 77 appearances for River Plate with 7 goals and 10 assists to his name.

Nubel to join Bayern in the summer
Alexander Nubel has agreed to join Bayern Munchen on a 5-year deal after his contract with Schalke runs out at the end of the season, according to Bild.
Schalke have been fighting to keep Nubel at Veltins ArenA, but the Gelsenkirchen club announced earlier today that the highly-rated goalkeeper has decided to turn down a contract extension.
According to the report from Bild, Nübel is prepared to be Bayern's second-choice goalkeeper behind Manuel Neuer following his arrival at Allianz ArenA, but it has been agreed that the 23-year-old will get to play from time to time.
Manuel Neuer's contract with Bayern runs until 2021, but the German international is expected to sign a new deal until 2023.
Neuer also made the switch to Bayern from Schalke and has made 362 appearances for the Bavarians since his move from "The Royal Blues" in 2011.

Mandzukic joins Qatari club Al-Duhail
Mario Mandzukic has arrived in Qatar ahead of completing a move from Juventus to Al-Duhail, according to Sky in Italy.
The 33-year-old forward is set to undergo a medical and sign an 18-month contract with the Qatari club.
Mandzukic has not played a competitive game for Juventus since Maurizio Sarri was appointed head coach in June.
Manchester United made a late move for Mandzukic in the summer transfer window after a bid to sign his Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala collapsed.
However, the Premier League club ended their pursuit of the Croatia international on Deadline Day.
Mandzukic is now expected to complete a January move to Al-Duhail, who are top of the Qatar Stars League.
It's reported Juve will pocket €5 million from the transfer, while Mandzukic should earn €7,5 million per season for 18 months.

Alena joins Real Betis on loan
Real Betis have completed a loan deal for FC Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena, according to a report in Marca.
The fresh report claims all parties are "assured" the move will be completed for the central midfielder, who will join the Seville-based club until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old La Masia youth graduate made 27 first-team appearances for the club last season after being promoted from their B team.
However, the central midfielder has been frozen out of action for Ernesto Valverde's team this summer and had not featured since the opening day of the season - a 1-0 loss at Athletic Bilbao.
This month has seen Alena more heavily involved - he came off the bench at Real Mallorca before playing the full game at Inter Milano.
Alena played the first half of that match before being substituted off but has struggled to feature since, with the club well stocked with central midfielders.
Frenkie de Jong, Sergio Busquets, Arturo Vidal and Arthur Melo are the first-choice central midfielders at the club, with Ivan Rakitic also not featuring this season.

Dortmund sign Haaland
Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Erling Braut Haaland from FC Salzburg on a contract until the summer of 2024.
The Norwegian sensation, linked with Manchester United, Juventus and RasenBallsport Leipzig among others, will join his new team-mates on 3 January after moving for a reported €20 million.
Haaland, 19-year-old, has plundered 28 goals in 22 games for Salzburg this season, including 8 in 6 games in the Champions League group stages.

Weigl leaves Dortmund for Benfica
Julian Weigl has joined Benfica from Borussia Dortmund in a €20 million deal.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder spent 4-and-a-half years with the Bundesliga side and had been a regular in Lucien Favre's team this season, making 20 appearances in all competitions.
The Germany international had previously been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, as former Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel admitted interest in him at the end of last season.
Weigl, who has represented his national team 5 times since his 2016 debut, made 171 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund and won the DFB Pokal and DFL Supercup in his time at the club.
He leaves a Dortmund side sitting 4th in the Bundesliga table - 7 points off leaders RasenBallsport Leipzig with 17 games played - just days after they completed the first high-profile capture of the window in FC Salzburg sensation Erling Haaland in a deal worth €20 million.
Benfica are top of the Primeira Liga and 4 points clear of second place FC Porto, while they face Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 32 of the Europa League, having dropped out of the Champions League after finishing third in Group G.

Kulusevski arrives for medical ahead of Juventus move
Atalanta-owned Dejan Kulusevski has arrived at Juventus to undergo medical tests ahead of completing a move to the Serie A champions.
Juve will reportedly pay €35 million to land the midfielder and although the 19-year-old had been widely expected to return to Parma, where he's currently on loan, Maurizio Sarri's side are pushing to have the youngster available to them in January.
The first part of the deal to sign Kulusevski has already been agreed, with the Swede set to earn a reported €2,5 million per year, not including bonuses, on a contract until 2024.
Kulusevski's form has helped Parma to 7th place in Serie A, with the young midfielder contributing 4 goals to the cause in Italy's top flight this season.
As such, the club are reluctant to lose a star performer midway through the season, though the Bianconeri will continue to try to push for a deal that suits both parties, even if they have to wait until the summer to complete the move.
One such proposal could include out-of-favour Marko Pjaca - the 24-year-old Croatian who has returned to the Juventus Stadium after a disappointing 2018-2019 season on loan with Fiorentina.
Pjaca has recently returned from injury and thus is available to be used as a possible makeweight in a deal for Kulusevski, though it is thought that the player himself would favour a move to Hellas Verona.
Getting a deal over the line that would please Juve, Parma and Atalanta will be difficult, and Sarri may well have to wait until the summer before he has the young Swede at his disposal.
A move should not be completely ruled out during the January window, however, and Parma are being no fools in terms of preparing for the worst, with SPAL midfielder Jasmin Kurtic thought to be the club's main target should they lose Kulusevski in the winter.

Rodwell joins Sheffield United
Sheffield United have completed the signing of free agent Jack Rodwell on a deal until the end of the season.
Rodwell had been training with the Blades, who have enjoyed a fine return to the Premier League.
Manager Chris Wilder confirmed in a news conference on Friday there would be an offer extended to the former England international, and the transfer was announced later the same day.
United made no mention of a longer-term agreement, although Wilder suggested there would be the option for the player to prolong his stay at Bramall Lane.
Rodwell has previously played for Everton, Manchester City, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers and was close to joining AS Roma before eventually sealing a return to the Premier League.

Napoli sign Demme
Napoli have agreed a €10 million plus bonuses deal with RasenBallsport Leipzig for Diego Demme and the midfielder is expected to have a medical tomorrow.
Multiple sources in Italy, including Sportitalia, Calciomercato.com, Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta dello Sport, claim the transfer is imminent.
Leipzig can pocket €10 million plus €2-3 million in add-ons for the midfielder, who can fly out this evening or tomorrow morning for his tests.
The 28-year-old was born and raised in Germany, with one senior cap for Die Mannschaft, but has an Italian passport thanks to his parents.
It has been said he was named Diego after Napoli legend Diego Armando Maradona.
He has made 24 competitive appearances for Leipzig this season, scoring one goal.

TSG Hoffenheim have completed the signing of Munas Dabbur from FC Sevilla, the Bundesliga club have announced.
The striker has put pen-to-paper on a contract until 2024 and joins Hoffenheim for a reported fee of €12 million.
Dabbur, who joined Sevilla from Salzburg last summer, made a total of 9 appearances for the Spanish club, racking up 3 goals and 2 assists.

Espanyol sign Raul De Tomas
Espanyol have completed the signing of Raul de Tomas from Benfica for an initial fee of €20 million.
The 25-year-old has signed a 6-and-a-half-year deal to become the first arrival since head coach Abelardo Fernandez took charge last month.
The deal also includes €2 million in add-ons and Benfica will retain a 20% sell-on clause for the forward.
The fee smashes the club's previous transfer record of €10,5 million, which they paid to sign Matias Vargas from Velez Sarsfield last July.
De Tomas, who joined Real Madrid at the age of 10 and progressed through the club's youth system, enjoyed productive loan spells with Real Valladolid and Rayo Vallecano before joining Benfica on a 5-year deal in July.
Despite an impressive scoring record for Rayo and Valladolid, he managed only 7 appearances in Portugal's top flight and did not score a single goal.
Espanyol were reportedly keen to sign him last year as a replacement for Borja Iglesias, who joined Real Betis in a €28 million deal.
Caldara to Atalanta for €15 million
Mattia Caldara is going back to Atalanta, on loan with €15 million option to buy and sale percentage, just 18 months after AC Milan paid €35 million to Juventus.
Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Gazzetta dello Sport and Sportitalia, all agree on the same details and that the deal is done.
The 25-year-old defender is expected to undergo a medical with Atalanta tomorrow.
It'll be an 18-month loan for free with option to buy for €15 million in June 2021.
Milan won't have a counter-option, but should be rewarded with a percentage of any future transfer.
Caldara comes full circle, because the Bergamo native started his career with his hometown club Atalanta and was sold to Juventus in January 2017 for €19 million.
He remained with the Orobici on loan until June 2018, when Juve then sold him to Milan in August that year for €35 million.
Caldara has been extremely unlucky during his Rossoneri spell, suffering 2 major injuries when he lacerated his Achilles tendon in October 2018 and ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in May 2019.
The Italy international made just 2 competitive appearances in a Milan jersey, the Europa League against Dudelange in September 2018 and the Coppa Italia semi-finals with Lazio in April 2019.
The figures of the deal mean Caldara returns to Atalanta for less than half the price Milan paid 18 months ago.
It also allows La Dea to buy him back for €4 million less than they sold him to Juve.
Cutrone all set for Fiorentina
Fiorentina have finally agreed a deal to bring Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Patrick Cutrone back to Italy.
Sky Sport Italia reports Fiorentina will take Cutrone on loan until the end of next season, at which point they will be obliged to buy him.
The former AC Milan hitman only moved to Wolverhampton last summer in a deal worth €18 million plus bonuses.
However, he struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League, scoring just 3 goals in 24 appearances at Molineux Stadium.
The 22-year-old, who has one Italy cap, previously netted 27 times in 90 appearances for the Rossoneri.
-
Villa sign Reina on loan
Aston Villa have agreed a deal with AC Milan to take goalkeeper Pepe Reina on loan for the rest of the season.
Sky Sports News has verified a report in Italy that Villa and Milan have agreed a fee for the 37-year-old, and Reina is expected to arrive in Birmingham on Monday to undergo a medical and complete the formalities.
The former Liverpool player emerged as a top target for Dean Smith's side following a season-ending injury to Tom Heaton.
Smith wanted an experienced 'keeper who can slot straight into the side, although Orjan Nyland will remain in goal for Sunday's game against Manchester City.
Reina has played 13 games in the last 2 seasons for AC Milan and is keen to get more game time, but he is expected to compete with Nyland, who impressed in the Carabao Cup semi-finals first leg against Leicester City.
Reina, 37-year-old, made 285 appearances for Liverpool between 2005 and 2014 and has won 36 caps for Spain.
