Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of right-back Nelson Semedo from FC Barcelona in a deal worth nearly £37 million, including potential add-ons.
Portugal international Semedo has signed a contract that will keep him at Molineux Stadium until June 2023, with an option to extend it to June 2025.
Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo was in the market for another option at right-back after Republic of Ireland international Matt Doherty joined Tottenham on a 4-year-deal last month.
Semedo, 26-year-old, who won 2 La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey following his move to Barcelona from Benfica in 2017, played 42 times for Barca last season.

Suarez joins Atletico Madrid
FC Barcelona have confirmed that Luis Suarez has joined Atletico Madrid after the two Spanish sides came to terms on a deal for the Uruguayan star.
Atleti will pay Barca €6 million to acquire the striker, who departs Camp Nou after 6 seasons with the club.
He'll head to Atletico after a stay with Barca that saw him claim 13 trophies while becoming the club's third-highest all-time goalscorer, only topped by Cesar and Messi.
Suarez originally made the move to Barcelona in 2014, having emerged as a superstar during his time with Liverpool.
He went on to score 198 goals in 283 games for the Blaugrana, earning the Golden Shoe as Europe's top scorer after scoring 59 total goals in 2015-2016.
While at Barca, Suarez won 4 La Liga titles and a Champions League, as he famously scored against Juventus to secure that European title for Barca.
Suarez scored 21 goals in 36 games for Barca last season as he battled injury midway through Barca's campaign in what turned out to be his least-prolific season at Camp Nou.
Candreva set for Sampdoria
Sampdoria are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal for Inter winger Antonio Candreva, who seems set to sign a 3-year deal at Stadio Marassi.

Candreva has chosen Sampdoria and leaves the Nerazzurri after 4 seasons and 151 competitive games.
The 33-year-old, who contributed 18 goals and 31 games for the Nerazzurri, arrived for €22 million after a successful spell with Lazio.
Candreva's contract at Inter expires in June 2021 and the outlet claims the former Italy international, capped 54 times, has decided to sign with the Blucerchiati.
Leverkusen sign Arias on loan
Atletico Madrid defender Santiago Arias has joined Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan deal, it has been confirmed.

Capable of playing on either side of a back 4, the full-back - who impressed at the 2018 World Cup for his nation - struggled for regular game-time in the Spanish capital.
Arias is behind Kieran Trippier and Sime Vrsaljko in the pecking order with Diego Simeone's side and he started just 11 matches in La Liga last season.
The 28-year-old joined Atleti in the summer of 2018 from PSV Eindhoven, where he spent 5 seasons, in a deal worth a reported €11 million.

Smalling moved back to Old Trafford after the last match against Juventus in Serie A 2019-2020 and has not played since, having left before Roma's match against FC Sevilla in the last 16 of the Europa League in 2019-2020.

Roma have an option to buy Borja Mayoral for €15 million if they activate it in 2021 and €18-19 million if it is in June 2022.
Before completing the move, he first has to extend his current contract with Real Madrid until 2023, as it was due to expire at the end of this season.
He should undergo a medical on Friday before signing the contract with the Giallorossi.

Formerly of Stoke City, Choupo-Moting was an unexpected hero for PSG in their run to the 2019-2020 Champions League Final, coming off the bench to score a 93rd-minute winner over Atalanta at the quarter-finals stage. He also made a substitute appearance in the Final against Bayern, but was not able to repeat his heroics.
He started 13 Ligue 1 games and appeared as a substitute in 18, scoring 6 goals, though his winning goal against Atalanta should mean he is remembered fondly by the club's fans.

Loftus-Cheek has been capped 10 times by England and went to the 2018 World Cup.
However, injury has hampered his progress since then, leading to him dropping down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Loftus Cheek was given a start in Chelsea's opening game of the Premier League season at Brighton, but failed to impress and has not made an appearance since.
