Villa to sign Bailey
Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Jamaica forward Leon Bailey for a fee over €30 million that can easily rise to €35 with bonuses.
The move is subject to Bailey completing a medical and agreeing personal terms with Villa.
Bailey had been offered to Premier League clubs this summer following Leverkusen's failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Several of England's top clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool were tracking the Jamaica international last summer, but were put off by the £40 million price tag.

Villa sign Ings
Aston Villa have signed England striker Danny Ings from Southampton for £25 million on a 3-year deal.
The 29-year-old scored 14 goals last season for both club and country and joins summer recruits Leon Bailey, Emiliano Buendia and Ashley Young at Villa Park.
After breaking through with 11 goals for Burnley in 2014-2015, Ings made the move to Liverpool, where he struggled to make an impact due to injuries.
The striker has since returned to form as a member of Southampton, though, scoring 46 goals over the last 2 seasons while establishing himself as one of the Premier League's top goalscorers.
Ings has also earned 2 caps for England recently after earning a debut all the way back in 2015, with Ings scoring against Wales in an October friendly.

City sign Grealish
Manchester City have signed Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for £100 million in the biggest deal in British football history.
The 25-year-old midfielder joins on a 6-year deal after the Premier League champions activated the £100 million release clause in his Villa contract on Friday.
The transfer fee also breaks the previous record in English football held by Paul Pogba when he re-joined Manchester United for £93,2 million from Juventus in 2016.
Pep Guardiola has been a long-time admirer of Grealish with the player leaving Villa having made 213 appearances over the course of 8 seasons, scoring 32 goals.
Man City also confirmed Grealish will wear the number 10 shirt, which was recently vacated by the departure of long-serving striker Sergio Aguero.

Atalanta sign Demiral
Merih Demiral has completed his transfer from Juventus to Atalanta, on loan with option to buy.
Turkey international Demiral has been unveiled as an Atalanta player, with the terms reportedly worth €2,5 million for the loan, option to buy for another €25 million plus bonuses.
Juve will also retain a percentage of the selling-on fee.
Demiral is a 23-year-old Turkey international defender who cost Juventus €18 million to sign from Sassuolo in 2019.

Chelsea agree club-record transfer deal to re-sign Lukaku
Chelsea have agreed in principle a club-record deal worth €115 million to re-sign striker Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milano.
The paperwork is now with club lawyers and once that is formalised, Lukaku will undergo a medical and sign a 5-year contract.
Inter have previously rejected 2 offers from Chelsea for the Belgium international, the second of which was worth €100 million plus left-back Marcos Alonso.
Lukaku, 28-year-old, left Chelsea in 2014 after making just 15 appearances there following his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Anderlecht in 2011.
One of the most prolific strikers in Europe, Lukaku scored 87 goals in 166 games for Everton between 2014 and 2017 and found the net 42 times in 96 appearances during his 2 years at Manchester United before signing for Inter in 2019.
He scored 24 goals in Serie A last season, helping Inter to their first Scudetto in 11 years as the club put an end to Juventus' 9-year reign as Italian top flight champions.

Dzeko completes Inter medical
Edin Dzeko has completed his Inter medical and it's reported AS Roma won't receive any transfer fee, just some bonuses.
The 35-year-old is in the final season of his Giallorossi contract, but was still expected to cost €2 million for the move.
Instead, Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio maintains there is no fee at all.
What Roma will receive is €1,8-1,9 million in bonuses if Inter qualify for the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Dzeko has completed his medical in Milano and was filmed walking out of the clinic with an Inter scarf in his hand.
He had been at Roma since 2015, scoring 119 goals in 260 competitive games for the Giallorossi.
Dumfries flying in for Inter medical
PSV Eindhoven wing-back Denzel Dumfries is flying out to Italy today, where he'll have his Inter medical tomorrow after a deal worth €12 million plus another €2,5 million in bonuses was struck.
Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla was confident of the figures and the timing last night, and those same details are now being confirmed by many other sources, including Sky Sport Italia.
Dumfries is expected to arrive in Milano this evening, so he can rest up and have his medical in the morning and sign the contract with his new club.
The right-back is under contract with PSV until June 2023, but has made it clear for months he wanted to leave and Inter were his first choice.
With 2 goals and 4 assists in 23 senior caps for Holland, Dumfries is effectively the replacement for Achraf Hakimi.
The 25-year-old can play as a right-back or in a more advanced right-wing-back role, suited to Simone Inzaghi's 3-5-2 formation.
Atletico sign Rodrigo de Paul
Rodrigo de Paul has signed for Atletico Madrid from Udinese on a 5-year contract.
The 27-year-old midfielder joins his new club in a €35 million deal, just days after winning the Copa America with Argentina.
De Paul started 4 of Argentina's 7 games, including Saturday's Final against Brazil.
De Paul just wrapped up an excellent Copa America and helped Argentina win the trophy for the first time since 1993 - when his new coach Diego Simeone was a player.
The 27-year-old scored in the quarter-finals against Ecuador and set up the only goal in the Final with a sensational pass that escaped new team-mate Renan Lodi's reach.
De Paul began his career at Racing in Argentina, where as a teenager he first came to broad attention (and drew Simeone's special interest). He joined Valencia in 2014 but struggled to establish himself over a season-and-a-half at Mestalla, eventually rejoining Racing on loan before moving to Serie A.
After he completed a cut-rate €3 million transfer to Udinese in 2016, De Paul became a dominant player.
He ranked as one of the best midfielders in the league over the past 3 seasons and became club captain last year. He scored 34 goals and assisted 36 others in 184 official appearances for the Italian side.

Vestergaard completes Leicester medical
Jannik Vestergaard has completed his Leicester City medical, with the club trying to finalise a deal ahead of Saturday's season opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A fee of £15 million was agreed with Southampton on Wednesday with the hope that the legalities on the defender's contract can be completed by midday on Friday so the Dane will be available to play on Saturday.
The Foxes wanted to sign a centre-back after Wesley Fofana was ruled out for a significant period with a broken leg sustained in a pre-season friendly against Villarreal last week, while Jonny Evans is struggling with a long-term foot issue.
The Denmark international joined Southampton from Borussia Monchengladbach in July 2018.
He made 32 appearances under Ralph Hasenhuttl last season as Southampton finished 15th in the Premier League and played in all 6 of Denmark's games as they reached the semi-finals of EURO 2020.

Abraham to undergo Roma medical
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham will undergo a medical at AS Roma on Sunday ahead of completing a €40 million transfer to the Italian club, Goal can confirm.
Abraham will fly to Italy to complete the permanent switch to Stadio Olimpico after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge by Thomas Tuchel.
Romelu Lukaku's return to Chelsea from Inter would have seen the 23-year-old's playing time significantly reduced, and the club have ultimately decided to cash in on a player who only has 2 years left to run on his contract.
Abraham will reportedly commit his future to Roma until 2026, and is set to earn around €5 million per annum in wages with the Serie A giants.
Goal can confirm that the terms of the deal with the Giallorossi includes an €80 million buy-back clause.
Chelsea would be able to trigger that option once the England international has completed 2 full seasons at Stadio Olimpico, where he will play under former Blues head coach Jose Mourinho.
Abraham initially began his Chelsea career back in 2016, having spent the previous 12 years in the club's youth system.
The forward went on to score 30 goals in 82 games for the Blues, and helped the club win their second Champions League crown last season.

Rodriguez joins Lazio
Former Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez has completed a move from AS Roma to Lazio in what is the first transfer between the cross-city rivals in 40 years.
The 34-year-old signed a 3-year deal with Roma last summer after arriving on a free transfer from Chelsea, but was deemed surplus to requirements by new coach Jose Mourinho and was left out of the team's pre-season preparations.
Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri was keen to reunite with Rodriguez after having coached him at Chelsea in the 2018-2019 season.
Roma were keen to offload the forward to a foreign club but would have lost out on around €3,5 million due to Italian state laws on tax benefits.
Lazio will not have to pay Roma any transfer fee but will take on the Spaniard's current wages of around €4 million per year pre-tax, plus bonuses depending on team performances next season.

Roma sign Rui Patricio
Wolverhampton Wanderers 'keeper Rui Patricio has completed a move to AS Roma, with the Premier League club set to bring in Olympiacos' Jose Sa as a replacement.
Roma said Patricio, 33-year-old, had joined on a 3-year contract for an initial €11,5 million.
The Portugal international is Jose Mourinho's first signing as Roma coach.
Patricio who joined Wolves in 2018 from Sporting Lisbon, won EURO 2016 and reached the last 16 of EURO 2020 where they lost to Belgium.
Sa is another Portuguese 'keeper and joined Olympiacos from FC Porto, initially on loan, in 2018.
The 28-year-old has been cleared to join Wolverhampton after Olympiacos reached an agreement with the Czech Republic 'keeper Tomas Vaclik.
Vaclik left Spanish side FC Sevilla at the end of last season.

Southampton to sign Lyanco
FC Torino defender Lyanco will undergo a medical on Monday as he closes on a move to the Premier League with Southampton, according to Sky in Italy.
The 24-year-old centre-back, a Brazil-Serbia dual national, would fill a hole in Ralph Hasenhuttl's squad left when Jannik Vestergaard joined rivals Leicester City on the eve of the 2021-2022 season.
Lyanco represented Serbia as a U19 player but has since played at U20 and U23 levels for Brazil, including as part of their Toulon Tournament-winning side in 2019.
He started his career in Brazil with Sao Paulo before joining Torino in 2017, securing more of a regular first-team role over the last 2 seasons after a loan spell with Bologna.
Torino did not include him in the squad for their opening Serie A game of the season on Saturday, which they lost 2-1 at home to Atalanta.
Williams joins Norwich on season-long loan
England U21 international full-back Brandon Williams has completed a move to Norwich City on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
The 20-year-old's move to Carrow Road was finalised on Monday after he completed a medical over the weekend, and the defender will wear the number 21 shirt for the Canaries for the rest of the 2021-2022 campaign.
Williams could be in contention to feature in City's Carabao Cup tie against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening, pending permission from the FA and the Premier League.
Williams, a product of Manchester United's academy, has seen his minutes on the pitch restricted at the club by the form of Luke Shaw at left-back, while Alex Telles is also competing for a place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first XI.
Williams broke into the first team 2 seasons ago and has registered 50 appearances in all competitions since making his debut in a Carabao Cup tie against Rochdale in 2019.
He signed a 4-year contract extension with United last summer with the option of a further year.
Fiorentina to sign Torreira on loan
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is close to joining Fiorentina on loan.
The deal for the 25-year-old includes an option to buy for £12,8 million.
Eintracht Frankfurt made an offer but Torreira's preference was a return to Italy.
The Uruguay international joined Arsenal in July 2018 from Sampdoria and has made 63 appearances for the club.
However, he spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid and is not in Mikel Arteta's plans.

Alderweireld completes transfer to Al-Duhail
Toby Alderweireld has completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Qatari side Al-Duhail.
The 32-year-old defender leaves north London after 6 years, having originally arrived from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015.
He made 236 appearances in all competitions and was a part of the Tottenham side that reached the Champions League Final 2 years ago, forming a strong partnership with compatriot Jan Vertonghen.
Alderweireld was contracted until 2023 but both new technical director Fabio Paratici and new manager Nuno Espirito Santo are in the process of reshaping the squad.
Watford sign Sissoko
Moussa Sissoko has joined Watford from Tottenham Hotspur on a 2-year deal.
The 32-year-old completed a medical on Friday and Sissoko has joined the newly-promoted Hornets for a fee of around £2,5 million.
Sissoko arrived at Tottenham from Newcastle on Deadline Day in August 2016 and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club.
The Frenchman, who represented his country at EURO 2020, had 2 years left on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but was not part of new manager Nuno Espirito Santo's plans and is yet to feature this season.
His departure marks another step in Tottenham's rebuild as he looks set to follow Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld out of the door at Spurs.
Zouma completes West Ham medical
Kurt Zouma has completed a medical ahead of his move from Chelsea to West Ham.
The clubs have agreed a deal in the region of £25 million for the France international, who has not featured in either of Chelsea's Premier League games so far this season.
There is still work to be done to finalise the deal, but personal terms have now been agreed and the clubs are negotiating the final terms of the contract.
Sky Sports News previously reported that West Ham were keen to land the defender, but that the obstacle of personal terms and the structure of payments had to be overcome before any move could be completed.
Zouma - who on Thursday was called up by France for their World Cup qualifiers in September - has been with Chelsea since January 2014, when he joined the club from Saint-Etienne.
The 26-year-old scored 5 goals last season, which was one of his most prolific in terms of appearances until Thomas Tuchel took over as manager from Frank Lampard.
He was an unused substitute in the opening 2 Premier League games of this season, wins over Crystal Palace and Arsenal - but did start the UEFA SuperCup clash with Villarreal.

West Ham sign Vlasic
West Ham have completed the signing of Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow.
The fee for Vlasic is €30 million plus €9 million in add-ons, with the contract running until 2026 and also including a one-year option.
David Moyes has been keen to bolster his attacking options and has turned his attention to the Croatia international after it became increasingly likely Jesse Lingard would remain at Manchester United this season.
Vlasic has previously had an underwhelming 2-year spell at Everton which came to an end in 2019.
The 23-year-old joined Everton on Deadline Day in the summer of 2017 for a fee of around £8 million from Hadjuk Split but only managed 19 appearances during his spell with the club.
He initially impressed Everton manager at the time Ronald Koeman, but struggled for game time under Sam Allardyce who replaced the outgoing Dutchman in November 2017.
Brighton confirm signing of Cucurella
Marc Cucurella has completed his move to Brighton & Hove Albion from La Liga side Getafe on a contract until June 2026, subject to international clearance.
The 23-year-old can play as either a left-back or wing-back and arrives after Brighton triggered his €18 million release clause, becoming the club's third summer signing after Enock Mwepu and Kjell Scherpen.
A product of Espanyol's youth system, Cucurella joined city rivals FC Barcelona in 2012 before loan spells with Eibar and Getafe, who he joined on a permanent basis in 2020.
Capped once by Spain, Cucurella played 75 La Liga games across 2 seasons in Getafe and was also part of the Spain squad that won silver at Tokyo 2020.
Palace to sign Edouard
Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is currently having a medical ahead of move to Crystal Palace.
The fee is believed to be around £14 million, while it could rise to £18,5 million, with Paris Saint-Germain due a significant sell-on clause in the deal.
Edouard has started the season with 2 goals in 4 Scottish Premiership games for Celtic.

Tottenham sign Emerson Royal
Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of right-back Emerson Royal from FC Barcelona.
Royal has signed a contract until 2026 and will wear the number 12 shirt at Spurs.
Sky Sports News reported on Monday that a bid worth €30 million was made for the right-back, which was later accepted by the Spanish club, with personal terms also agreed.
The brazilian joined Barcelona in 2019 from Atletico Mineiro. He then moved to Betis, but returned to the Camp Nou this summer when Barcelona exercised a buy-back clause.
Leicester sign Lookman on loan
Leicester City have signed RasenBallsport Leipzig winger Ademola Lookman on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Fulham, making 35 appearances in all competitions and scoring 4 goals as the Cottagers were relegated from the Premier League.
The former Charlton winger spent 2-and-a-half years at Everton before moving to Leipzig permanently in July 2019, where he has made only 13 appearances.
Real Madrid sign Camavinga
Real Madrid have signed Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes on a 6-year deal in a move worth up to €40 million.
In July, Sky Sports News reported Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain were among the European clubs interested in signing the 18-year-old midfielder, considered one of the brightest prospects in French football.
United held informal talks with Camavinga's representatives as the teenager entered the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 club. However, Real Madrid accelerated talks in the last 24 hours.
Real see Camavinga as a potential long-term replacement for 35-year-old Luka Modric, who in May signed a one-year extension to stay at Santiago Bernabeu.
The 18-year-old made his international debut for France during a Nations League game against Croatia last year, becoming the youngest player to play for Les Bleus since 1914.
He came through the youth ranks at Rennes and became the youngest player to play for the club when he made his professional debut in April 2019.

Tomiyasu joins Arsenal, Bellerin loaned to Betis
Arsenal have signed defender Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna in a £20 million deal while Hector Bellerin has joined Real Betis on loan for the season.
Tomiyasu - who will wear the number 18 shirt at the Emirates Stadium - underwent a medical in Italy on Tuesday and has signed a 4-year deal, with the option of a fifth.
The 22-year-old Japan international can play at both centre-back and right-back and had attracted interest from Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham earlier in the transfer window.
Tomiyasu's arrival helps to fill the gap left by Hector Bellerin, who has joined Real Betis on loan until the end of the season.
The Spain international had been at Arsenal since signing from FC Barcelona in 2011, but Arteta has preferred Cedric Soares and Calum Chambers at right-back so far this season.
Atletico sign Griezmann on loan
Antoine Griezmann has completed his shock Deadline Day return to Atletico Madrid on loan from FC Barcelona.
Atletico and Barcelona said there was an option to extend the loan for a further season, with the Catalan club adding the Madrid side also had an obligation to make the deal permanent.
Sky in Italy reports this permanent deal would cost €40 million.
Atletico were able to move for the 30-year-old after sanctioning Saul Niguez's departure to Chelsea on an initial loan with an option to buy worth €39 million overall.
Diego Simeone was keen to sign a new striker and Griezmann will have no difficulty settling back at Atletico, having worked under the Argentine between 2014 and 2019.
Barcelona stated that Atletico have agreed to pay Griezmann's wages in full.
The 2018 World Cup-winner joined Barcelona from Atletico on a £103 million deal 2 years ago and scored 35 goals in 102 appearances for the club.
However, he has only won the Copa del Rey during his time at the Nou Camp, and the Catalan giants have been trying to lighten their wage bill this summer due to debts amounting to £1,15 billion, as confirmed by club president Joan Laporta earlier in August.
Griezmann originally left Atletico for Barcelona in 2019 at the end of a protracted transfer saga after his €120 million release clause was paid in full.

Chelsea sign Niguez on loan
Chelsea have signed midfielder Saul Niguez on loan for the season from Atletico Madrid.
Saul will join Chelsea for an initial fee of €4 million, with the Blues having the option to make the deal permanent for €35 million next summer.
The 26-year-old, who was part of Diego Simeone's title-winning side last season, made more than 300 appearances for Atletico after breaking into the first team as a 17-year-old in 2012.
As well as winning La Liga last season, Saul also won 2 Europa League titles and the Copa del Rey during his time with Atletico.
The 26-year-old has 19 caps for Spain, although he has not played for his country for nearly 2 years.
