Leeds sign Wober
Leeds United have signed Austria defender Maximilian Wober from Red Bull Salzburg for a fee in the region of £11 million, subject to a work permit.
The 24-year-old, who can operate at both centre-back and left-back, is Leeds' first signing in the January transfer window after agreeing a 4-and-a-half-year deal.
Marsch spent 2 years in charge at Salzburg until 2021, while Leeds signed USA forward Aaronson and Denmark defender Kristensen from the Austrian club last summer.
Wober, who has made 13 senior appearances for Austria, started out at Rapid Vienna and joined Ajax in 2017 before moving on to FC Sevilla, initially on loan, in early 2019.
He became the Austrian Bundesliga's most expensive signing in August 2019 when joining up with Marsch at Salzburg and went on to make 125 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Chelsea confirm Badiashile transfer
Chelsea have completed the signing of AS Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile in a £35 million deal on a 7-and-a-half-year contract.
Sky Sports News reported in late December the west London club were in advanced talks over a deal for the 21-year-old France international and the player completed his switch to Stamford Bridge on Thursday.
Badiashile is considered one of the best young left-footed centre-backs in Europe and this has been a profile of player Chelsea have wanted since the summer.
After making his Monaco debut at the age of 17 in 2018, Badiashile went on to make 135 appearances for his boyhood club. The defender made his full international debut for France in September 2022, but did not make Didier Deschamps' squad for the World Cup in Qatar.

Chelsea to sign Felix on loan
Joao Felix has flown to London for his Chelsea medical ahead of a loan move from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.
The Blues, who are set to beat Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal to the signing of the Portugal forward, will pay an €11 million loan fee plus his wages.
Felix would provide a much-needed boost to head coach Graham Potter's attacking options, with his side scoring just 20 goals in 17 Premier League matches this season.
Felix has just 7 La Liga starts for Atletico this season but he was named in the starting XI for their 1-0 defeat at home to FC Barcelona on Sunday.
However, the La Liga side are prepared to let Felix - who has 5 goals and 3 assists in all competitions this season - leave on loan in January because of his difficult relationship with manager Diego Simeone.
The 23-year-old joined Atletico from Benfica in a €126 million deal from Benfica in 2019.

Chelsea agree deal for Mudryk
Chelsea have agreed a deal worth £88,5 million with Shakhtar Donetsk for winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
Chelsea's co-owner Behdad Eghbali and director of global transfers Paul Winstanley flew into Antalya in Turkey - where Shakhtar are training - on Saturday to complete the deal before taking Mudryk back to the UK with them on their private jet.
Mudryk will undergo his medical in London on Sunday and is expected to be at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea play Crystal Palace.
Chelsea are confident of securing the transfer and have offered the 22-year-old a 7-and-a-half-year contract.
Chelsea will pay £62 million up front and £26,5 million in add-ons, which include winning the Champions League, Premier League and other individual performance-related conditions.
At the start of last season, Mudryk was an unknown outside of Ukraine with a transfer value of under £1 million. Now he is one of the most coveted young players in Europe. Following an explosive rise, he looks destined for big things.
The 21-year-old, who showcased his thrilling speed and one-on-one ability in the Champions League group stages earlier this season, has been described by Darijo Srna, Shakhtar Donetsk's director of football, as the best player in Europe in his position after Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
Leeds break transfer record to sign Rutter
Leeds United have broken their transfer record to sign forward Georginio Rutter from TSG Hoffenheim for £35,5 million.
The deal comes after negotiations between the two clubs earlier this week, with the move for the France U21 international surpassing the club's previous record transfer fee of £27 million paid for Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia in August 2020.
Rutter, 20-year-old, has signed a 5-and-a-half-year contract at Elland Road, with his deal running until the summer of 2028.
Rutter scored twice in 17 games in all competitions for Hoffenheim this season and has an overall record of 11 goals in 64 appearances for the Bundesliga side.

Wolverhampton confirm Sarabia signing
Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Pablo Sarabia from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €5 million.
The Spain international has signed a 2-and-a-half-year contract at Molineux Stadium after agreeing personal terms and undergoing a medical on Tuesday.
Wolves announced the move ahead of their FA Cup third round replay against Liverpool, with Sarabia watching on from the stands.
He could make his debut away at Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 30-year-old, who featured for Spain at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, was captain for his country's U19 side when Wolverhampton manager Julen Lopetegui was in charge.
They were also briefly at FC Sevilla together, for a month, before Sarabia left to join PSG in July 2019.
He made 89 appearances while in the French capital, helping them win 2 Ligue 1 titles, and spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon.

Bayern finalize Sommer transfer
Borussia Monchengladbach have accepted Bayern Munchen's latest offer for goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
After a medical later today, the 34-year-old Swiss international should be available to train with his new team-mates at Bayern's final pre-match training session tomorrow.
Sport Bild claims that Bayern upped their last offer for the veteran net-minder by approximately €500,000 in additional performance-based bonuses.
The foals shall claim a base transfer fee of €8 million for their number 1 with a potential to earn another €1,5 million over the course of time.
Atletico to sign Depay
After weeks of rumours over his future, Memphis Depay is now set to leave FC Barcelona in the coming days.
The Dutchman has struggled for game time under head coach Xavi Hernandez this season, having made just 4 appearances. He has fallen behind the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres in the pecking forward.
Barca initially wanted to keep Depay for the rest of the season, before letting him leave when his contract expired in June. However, they decided last week to let him leave, providing that any deal made financial sense for the club.
Atletico Madrid identified Depay as a replacement for Joao Felix, who left for Chelsea earlier this month. Atleti wanted to sign him on initial loan deal until the end of the season, before signing him permanently when his contract ran out. However, Barcelona demanded that they receive a fee for any deal, and set an initial asking price of €7 million.
Now, it appears that they will receive approximately half of that, as Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Atleti and Barca have agreed a deal for Depay, which will be worth €3-4 million. The forward will complete medical tests in the next few days, and will sign a contract until the summer of 2025.
Atleti will hope to have Depay available for this weekend's La Liga match against Real Valladolid.

Arsenal sign Kiwior
Arsenal have completed the signing of Poland defender Jakub Kiwior from Spezia in a deal worth £20 million.
The 22-year-old, who has signed a 4-and-a-half deal with the option of a further year at the Emirates Stadium, becomes the Premier League leaders' second signing this January after the arrival of Leandro Trossard from Brighton for £27 million.
Kiwior has been capped 9 times by Poland and started all 4 of their games at the World Cup in Qatar.
Arsenal were looking for a left-sided central defender, with Kiwior expected to provide competition for Gabriel Magalhaes.

Tottenham sign Danjuma on loan
Tottenham Hotspur have completed the loan signing of Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma - just days after he nearly joined Everton.
Sky Sports News reported on Monday that Danjuma would join managerless Everton on Tuesday. The move was still expected to go through despite the sacking of Frank Lampard, who played a key role in the deal.
However, in a dramatic twist, the Holland international suddenly travelled to London to hold talks with Spurs, and the 25-year-old has now finalised his move to Antonio Conte's side.
Tottenham have the option to buy Danjuma once his initial loan finishes at the end of the season.

Cancelo set for shock Bayern loan
Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo is in line for a loan move to Bayern Munchen before the January transfer window closes.
A deal that also includes an option to buy the full-back at €70 million has been agreed.
Cancelo has had limited game time since returning from the World Cup, with Pep Guardiola changing the shape of his side.
Cancelo started 36 times for City in the Premier League last season, but has had a restricted role at City this term, and has seen Pep Guardiola change the team's shape and formation.
The versatile full-back has been a key part of Guardiola's side since joining City from Juventus in a £60 million deal in 2019 and has helped the team win 2 Premier League titles.
However, he appears to have fallen down the pecking order of late and has started just 3 games since top level domestic football resumed in December.

Chelsea sign Enzo Fernandez
Chelsea have signed midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a British-record £107 million.
The deal for the Argentine surpasses the £100 million Manchester City paid for Jack Grealish from Aston Villa 18 months ago.
The 22-year-old, who only joined Benfica last summer for around £10 million, has signed an 8-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge to keep him at the club until the summer of 2031.
Chelsea are yet to formally announce Fernandez's signing, but they posted a teaser video on Twitter on Tuesday morning.
Chelsea had been in talks to sign the World Cup winner throughout January, but Benfica had refused to do business unless the Blues paid his €120 million release clause.
The Blues will pay a first instalment of £30 million with the rest of the fee paid in 5 further instalments.
Fernandez was left out of Benfica's squad for their game against Arouca on Tuesday night, with the 22-year-old undergoing a medical in Portugal ahead of his switch to Stamford Bridge.

Forest sign free agent Ayew
Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of free agent Andre Ayew - their 30th since the summer.
Ayew joins on a contract until the end of the season, and Sky Sports News understands the Ghana captain is included in Forest's squad list of 25 that was submitted to the Premier League on Thursday afternoon.
Ayew, who scored 35 goals in 84 appearances under Forest manager Steve Cooper at Swansea City, was reportedly also interesting Everton on Transfer Deadline Day.
The 33-year-old forward was without a club following his exit from Qatari outfit Al Sadd.
In July 2021, Ayew joined Al Sadd and scored 15 goals in 21 league matches as they were crowned Qatar Stars League champions last season, eventually leaving having netted 22 times in 39 games.
Ayew has earned 113 international caps for Ghana and his participation in the 2022 World Cup made him the only Ghanaian player to feature at the nation's last 3 World Cups, scoring in their opening group stages fixture against Portugal.

Brighton signs Pedro
Brighton & Hove Albion have completed a club-record deal for Watford forward Joao Pedro, who will join Roberto De Zerbi's squad at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old forward has signed a 5-year deal at the Amex Stadium, an agreement which will start when the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.
Pedro has scored 11 goals in 35 Championship appearances for Watford this season and was part of the Hornets' squads that were relegated from the Premier League in 2020 and 2022.
The transfer eclipses the Seagulls' signing of defender Adam Webster from Bristol City for around £20 million in August 2019.
