In primul rand, toti cei care se asteptau ca versiunea de PC sa fie in sfarsit la acelasi nivel grafic cu suratele sale de pe PLAYSTATION 3 si Xbox 360 vor fi din nou dezamagiti. Versiunea de PC a jocului va fi din nou o adaptare a variantei de PlayStation2 a acestui joc.

Jocul nu va mai semana insa cu ceea ce am vazut din 2003 incoace. Astfel, versiunea de PC va beneficia de modele de jucatori mult mai detaliate, shadere mai aratoase, precum redarea gazonului, mult mai realist acum. Din pacate, publicul si restul elementelor de decor vor ramane bidimensionale. Producatorii sunt convinsi ca vor reusi sa reproduca pe PC mare parte din aspectul grafic caracteristic deja vechiului FIFA 08 de PLAYSTATION 3.

De asemenea, pentru prima data intr-un joc FIFA de la FIFA Road to World Cup 98 incoace, va fi reintrodus controlul cu ajutorul mouse-ului. Folosindu-va de acesta impreuna cu batrana tastatura veti putea controla intr-un cu totul alt mod desfasurarea meciurilor, asemenea unui joc de strategie in timp real. Nu vor disparea clasicele metode de control via gamepad sau controller.

personal,Fifa 08 mi se pare cea mai reusita versiune all time! Restu` au fost bune la vremea lor,dar semanau mai mult cu niste desene animate... Fifa 08 nu a prins la cei ce nu se pricep prea bine la acest joc si la fotbal in general! Toti erau obisnuiti sa joace cu Barca,sa suteze de la 40 de metri si sa dea gol...ei bine 08 e cel mai realist de pana acum si sper ca versiunea 09 sa fie tot pe acelasi concept...

O imbunatatire pe care producatorii au anuntat-o face referire la timpul de raspuns crescut in momentul pasarii si driblarii, si al diverselor ghionturi pe care si le aplica beckhamii intre ei ("increased responsiveness").
Cei de la Electronic Arts au declarat ca imbunatatiri se vor vedea si in cazul jucatorului care prinde mingea, acesta putand sa-si recapete echilibrul daca e interceptat prin alunecare pe piciorul care nu-i sustine greutatea in acel moment.
Se pare ca, jucatorii vor fi "dotati" si cu sentimente, deoarece capitanii de echipe vor putea izbucni in plans in momentul in care se rateaza prosteste un penalty.

Totusi, microbistii care joaca seria FIFA inca de la inceputurile sale (FIFA ’94, dar FIFA ’97 a fost primul din serie cu o grafica si moduri de joc cat de cat apropiate de ceea ce vedem acum) sunt destul de sceptici la afirmatiile facute de Electronic Arts.
Motivele lor de ingrijorare sunt intemeiate deoarece, de la FIFA '98 incoace, schimbarile au fost mai mult la nivel grafic decat la nivel tactic.

Un lucru este totusi cert, chiar daca FIFA 2009 nu va veni cu un pachet de 50.000 de combinatii tactice si cu jucatori cu sentimente, acesta va veni cu o grafica mai evoluata, cu liste de jucatori si echipe actualizate.
Toate aceste noutati ii vor indemna pe jucatori sa lase deoparte, fara sa stea prea mult pe ganduri, vechea versiune de FIFA 2008.

O updatarea a echipelor romanesti este binevenita, si ar fi si mai frumos daca numele jucatorilor nostri nu ar mai fi scrise gresit.

EA has made "250 key improvements" to the 2009 version of FIFA, including improved responsiveness and a revamped collision system, reveals the first-look preview in the latest GamesMaster mag.

Among the improvements in the new FIFA, which is due out in Autumn, are "improved responsiveness that allows for quicker release of the ball, greater urgency in the off-the-ball running, a new jostle system that takes into account the strength of the players when going shoulder to shoulder and subtle animations that enable players to take first-time shots."

That's four out of the 250 then. Another of the 09 edition's biggest changes is a completely revamped collision system, which calculates speed, weight and power when the players collide, as each player will have their own individual strength and power stats.

This time around, the defender won't always win, and this could potentially change challenges completely.

Although GM notes the new system makes tumbles look far more realistic, it's not just a visual change. For example, if a tackle comes in and hits a player's standing leg there's a good chance he'll go down hard, taking him out of the game. But if the player is in mid-strike and gets clipped, he could lose his balance but continue running.

That's the current-gen version then. On the PS2 space, EA says it's focusing on tweaking rather than reinventing the game, although as with PS3 and 360 it's focused on making a more realistic collision system.

The Wii version meanwhile is set to feature multiple control methods, one said to play just like PES on Wii, another where passing is automatic and 'Footii' mode, an 8-aside, arcade-y Mii match.

Inca un joc in linia FIFA. Eu nici nu m`as obosi sa le mai prezint sau sa le comentez. Cum zisa cineva mai sus, toata lumea o sa inlocuiasca 2008 cu 2009, din cauza echipelor si jucatorilor.
