ThermoScan ear thermometer measures temperature within seconds from the ear. The ear is an accurate site to measure temperature because the eardrum shares blood supply with the temperature control area of the brain. Now you can take your baby's temperature with incredible accuracy in one second flat!. Measuring the infrared heat created by the eardrum and surrounding area, the Braun ThermoScan takes a total of eight different measurements and displays the highest reading. All readings are display in easy-to-read LCD format. A beep signals the end of the cycle and a memory holds the day's last eight readings for comparison. Lens filter is used for increased accuracy and is easily removed thanks to the lens filter ejector.
